This welly is very heavy. Apart from that I do not have much issue.

I have been searching for wellies with a "Thick" sole without spending a fortune, I purchased these as a stop gap, whilst waiting for the expensive ones I love to come down in price, I have Fibromyalgia and Arthritis and as well as all my other pain, I get very painful feet in cold weather caused by the fibro (if you know, you know!) It feels like walking barefoot on ice while being stabbed/sliced in the feet with frozen needles and knifes it's horrendous, anyway this is the first pair of wellies I have found with just the right thickness sole within a decent price range and not feeling to clump heavy or like space boots, I have not had my foot pain once whilst wearing them (quick dog walks) over fields and solid ground) I also have not slipped on any mud like I normally would, they are very roomy though which I was dubious about at first, I am a size 5, and I have been wearing my regular daytime socks with a thick pair (fleece lined wellie socks) (I did this also in my old boots as they had obviously stretched out being a few years old but still had the unbearable foot pain and could not walk more than a few steps), they are also really easy to get on and off which helps with my Arthritis I can just slide my foot in without touching them to put them on and they come off quick and easy, no more wrestling muddy wet boots off with my bare hands!, so I highly recommend these just remember they are roomy so if you just want to wear regular thin socks maybe downsize, BUT thick or wellie socks stick to your usual size, tempted to buy another pair for the future as no doubt when I need another pair in a few years I won't find these again.

Exactly what I expected. The low cuff is perfect for gardening, easy on and off!!

Not sure where the True to Size info comes from but my shoe size is an exact 9 so I ordered a size 9 and they are easily a size too big. Fortunately I was half expecting this and was ordering them for winter use with thick socks. I've worn these every day for the last 6 months with TWO pairs of ultra thick thermal socks which I'm sure add more than one shoe size! Having said that, the bulk of the 4 socks made the wellies fit perfectly. The problem is that the slope at the front of the boot is very steep so they don't press on to the top of your foot, if you know what I mean. This area is what stops a boot falling off when you lift your foot off the ground. With thin socks these boot would practically fall of with each step! Another problem with these boots is the calf level top of the boots cuts into your leg, as others have mentioned. I've always worn my boots with the tops rolled back, making them about an inch shorter! A further problem is that when you're hosing down an area, it's amazing how often your legs get wet just above the boots - an area which would be protected by full length boots! Overall, I've given 3 stars because having worn these boots 2 or 3 hours a day for the past 6 months they have not shown any signs of breaking apart, although the soles have almost worn away. So very good build quality.

I wouldn't have thought that I would be buying wellies because I thought they would be more of a countryside thing, however during a horrible rainy/muddy season last year, I really needed some wellies for when I took my dog for a walk. These wellies were a brilliant price firstly, upon looking at Amazon a lot of female wellies seemed to be very over-priced in my opinion, and I think these were perfect if you're just look for something standard and to do the job.PROS:Fits to shoe size accurately.Rigid material, so far no tears or even marks.Easy to clean! Lifesaver when they get incredibly muddy.The length of the welly is high enough so you can go into deep puddles and not get wet legs, but not too high so it feels awkward on your legs.Quality of material is excellent.CONSNone, they are pretty rigid and hard to run in but I'm a newbie to wellies so I bet this is the case with all of them!Overall: 5/5. Highly recommend especially if you were like me and a newbie to wellies and did not want to pay a silly price for them, they do the job perfectly and they are comfortable.
