Very stylish looking. Holds tightly to any flat surface, but not very easy to dismount. It shouldn't be a huge problem if you stick it and leave it like I do.A plus is that it comes with an extra 3M adhesive pad, which turns out to very essential in my case as my dashboard is not smooth.A drawback is that the holding clips are rather tight. Obviously you would like them to be tight while driving, but it can be a little awkward (you have to push the two holding arms wide open) to mount large phones. My old phone holder had a different mechanism where I could push a button to adjust the grip, which would be a better solution.

Brilliant for a wide variety of phones including my Galaxy Note 2, even in its case.Ultra stable on the windscreen, the phone does not vibrate at all,Suction is as good as anything I ever tried before.Why not 5 stars - well you do need to wrestle with the jaws a bit to get the phone in and out - a minor thing perhaps given its excellent performance when driving - and I would like to see something that I could pass the charging cable through (or a device to clamp it) so the cable does not fall on the floor whenever I take the phone out.In summary - great yet not quite perfect - but so very close to perfect.

In addition to the mount you also get a small sticky back plastic disc so you can mount this easily to textured dashboards, I wasn't aware of this when purchasing so thought I would get that out of the way first. Unfortunately it wasn't compatible with my dashboard as it has a slight curve. ('03 Corsa).This unit looks absolutely fantastic, I wanted to show it off to friends but felt that a little weird for a phone mount! Upon installation it was almost difficult to NOT get it to stick to the windscreen when I was trying to decide on placement. It's a very squidgy but sucky pad, and the mechanism to get it to suck onto the windscreen is very solid.It holds my iPhone 5 very securely in either portrait or landscape. I can video the road ahead in landscape which is nice, and is a good example of how flexible the ball and socket joint is in regards to positioning. When you find a position you want you just screw the nut around the ball (ha) and it's locked into place.It's capable of holding very large phones too, my friend tried his Sony Xperia Z in it which is humongous and it fit no problem.I will update this review if I have any problems down the line but with the 2 year guarantee I'm quite confident in my purchase.PS. I was a little dubious about this product before I ordered it as I have had "grip" type holders before and they were poor at keeping the phone steady but I decided to buy it as there were no other car cradles for the iPhone 6 Plus that I liked the look of. I have to say that I needn't have worried as this is a great piece of kit.It adheres to the dashboard incredibly well. There is a supplier plastic disc which you stick to the dashboard but having used it on holiday recently without the disc I can confirm that it sticks really well to the dashboard without the disc. I have put the disc on my own car dashboard however and it is incredibly stable.As for the gripping. I was surprised at how well it holds my phone. I was worried with the iPhone 6 Plus being so big that it wouldn't do the job but it holds it perfectly and is really easy to get in and out of the gripper teeth. I have an Apple case on my phone and was worried that the teeth would mark the case but they don't.It also looks very stylish. All in all one of the best dash mount car cradles I've ever owned and if you are looking for one for the iPhone 6 Plus or other phablet then you will not be disappointed with this.

Sticks to dash first time but loses suction after repeated removal but if u persevere it will hold well . Phone fits in easy and good value for the money .

I purposely left it a few months before writing a review to allow time to test the product of it's quality. The suction pad is immensely strong, however there was two occasion that the entire mount fell off of my car windscreen, this was due to the suction pad being dirty. The suction pad can be cleaned with water and the power of the suction returns. I would estimate that the suction pad lasts about 2.5.- 4 weeks before needing to clean it again after constant use. Using the mount is not limited to in-car only, I have used it on my writing desk and it fit's nicely on windows.I'm not sure whether it is necessary to create a suction pad cover to prevent the pad becoming dirty too quickly, however that is down to the owners of the product.Overall this product is great and I wouldn't have chosen any other car mount. It's rock solid!

I wanted a car cradle that would fit on a corner of my curved dash and not bounce around. Previously I had a very cheap, window mounted cradle with a ball jointed arm - the phone bounced around in it annoyingly and eventually it simply fell apart. This time I wanted something that was totally rock steady. I have a dimpled dash and this sticks to it like glue. Even over bumps the phone is absolutely steady without a single shudder. I worried how firm the grip would be to hold the phone in place, not firm enough so the phone might fall out? But this is perfect, tight without being damaging any way. I have a Samsung Galaxy phone and it fits perfectly, it would take a slightly larger phone too. Wish I'd bought one ages ago. Highly recommended.

Attaches fine to smooth and flat surfaces. Pad helps on curved dash, does loose suction though - it has fallen off a couple of times with phone attached (Ford Fiesta - curved bobbled dash) but on smooth area attaches and holds without need for pad and stays put.
