Beautiful pipe, feels great and filters the smoke excellent! The only thing the stand that comes with, it’s ok. It doesn’t hold the pipe straight. I bought a wood one. Holds the pipe much better.

I bought this because i was Asian and liked the artistry of this pipe. But wow- what have I learned so quickly in receiving this (and as a beginner). 1. ceramic - definitely prefer it. cleaner. less "finish" taste (say like with briar wood finishes). 2. the design of this is brilliant with the 1/2 ball screen AND the traditional screen on top. it fits perfectly above the stem hole and thus TONS of air and protection. stayed lit first bowl without a problem (and I'm a beginner) 3. not sure if #2 is THE reason why (I can only assume)- but the draw is SO SMOOTH, not "pipe taste" (say like the briar wood I bought- almost like I'm drawing the taste of the finish on it?). 3. such a pleasure to hold and feel the smoothness of the ceramic. 4. the cork "thimble" is perfect for cleaning out. (don't have to adhese to ash tray, I just hold the cork above the ash tray and tap the pipe onto the cork. this is my 3rrd pipe in my learning/beginner stage- one "jamaican" style portable wood pipe (love that thing, but could never keep it lit). Briar wood screw on bowl/stem style (love it but it has that "finish" taste). By far this stays lit more easily, smoother/cleaner draw- just super pleasurable all around. 3in-1 tool Is quality (not like my briar wood pipe tool which i can barely open without bending each leg). The pipe stand is. VERY NICE addition to help load, cool it down, keep it off surfaces, etc. awesome that it comes with a wire brush as well to clean it (no need to buy one anymore). as a beginner, the difference/enjoyment of the 3 pipes I've bought thus far- no question which stands out leaps and bounds.

Get it, for the parts. And for the unique experience. Don't expect a cherry wood warden pipe quality smoke, or a pearwood thick cake pipe quality. This is.. different. Clean. Crisp, in a REEEEALLY odd way. The last thing I ever expected from a good heady bowl of No8 Black Cat pipe tobacco was a "crisp" finish. I have a degree in English among the graveyard of Letters, and yet the best Iv can give is comparing the end of the draw to the first bite of a cold apple -- clean, snappingly crisp. Try it. It's worth the incredibly minor investment. It can be disassembled, and comes with filters, on your head be it if you use our not. I did not. It also comes with steel "nests" to put in the bottom to improve airflow and keep the draw chamber clearer. I find it only works if you light with a lower smouldering heat. But having tried with and without -- with gives you a much richer taste of the tobacco, and elevated cheap generic counter tobaccanist blend to something with actual notes. Look, just get it already

Pretty and functional for occasional (less than once daily) tobacco use. Smoking repeatedly per day (with proper cleanings has started to yellow both the ceramic and the mold lines. Pipe my not stay “pretty” for much longer. Good collection piece…. Bad daily use pipe.

Great pipe! I especially appreciate the extra filters & tools that you receive with this pipe. I had to order a new one recently because my first one did end up cracking & falling apart. It did last me several months & was my daily smoker. Would definitely recommend for 420 use. Very pleased

Very bad product , looks fancy and attractive; however could not take the heat and cracked after 8 uses.

Nice little set! It gets hotter than wooden ones when lighting up and relighting but looks pretty cool. The holder works for all my other pipes.
