PaperMate never should have discontinued these! I was thrilled to see this old favorite style pen back and in neon barrel colors. It's a little less hefty than I recall the original being, but the ink is smooth and vivid. I'd love to see this back in all of the original colors, especially purple. 25 years ago I loved the capped version of this over click, but now I prefer click pens in general, so this was a perfect slice of nostalgia for me. I might buy another pack to be sure I have enough if they're retired again.

I got these because they remind me of my Dad. He loved these pens. I love pink, and this offered a fond memory of my dad and it's pink!! double bonus! Bummer that they don't last long though. So far out of the 12, I have 5 left. A few stopped working even though there was plenty ink left, and the spring stopped working on most of them. I've just pulled the springs out of the ones that stopped working and held onto them in case I needed them.

They finally brought these back! I love the flex grip ultra pens. They write very smooth and last a long time.
