Anna and Sarah Organic Dried Apricots in Resealable Bag, 5lbs 1 Pack

I've ordered these multiple times - first, for special occassions - but then, they're such a healthy snacking alternative, I've stopped buying cookies and chips to have around the house. The reason I seek out Turkish apricots is because they are not treated with Sulphur like the bright orange ones here in the U.S - which causes "intestinal distress" in many of us. Turkish ones are just dried to their natural dry color and I don't mind at all! Once you pick one up and bite into one of these apricots, you will understand that looks aren't everything!! They are soft and plump and the flavor is so absolutely stunning because they ripened in the Turkish sun. I am always looking for things to make with them. This particular brand in this size is an awesome value and they ship very quickly. The apricots just have to be refrigerated because they are so fresh and soft and have no preservatives or sugar or crap on them! LOVE THESE FOREVER!

There is nothing like all-natural, unsulfured, apricots. They are sweet and completely natural tasting. Sulfured apricots may look pretty, but the bright yellow color is achieved by bleaching with sulfur dioxide and they taste awful. These apricots are brown, the natural color of dried apricots. Trust Anna and Sarah products. Everything they sell is of the highest quality and their prices are reasonable.

Sad to say I'm a bit disappointed in this particular product. I was hoping to find some un-sulfered apricots that were plump, tart, and tasty. These just don't do it for me. They are plump, but not at all tart and a bit weird in feel and taste. They may be what some folks are looking for but these just aren't a fit for me.
