It's solid.
It might be my fault? Probably is.But sometimes there's a consistent crack on the same spot for one of the molds for the ice that's produced. Also, removing the ice at times can be difficult.BUT, it works and it's awesome. Can be inconsistent sometimes, but that's not the products fault? Perhaps it's my water, how much I fill up them mold and other factors? For the value, I think the product is pretty solid.

What can I say - they make giant ice balls.
I was originally going to get the one-piece 4 ball maker but decided to go this route as the individual molds looked easier to fill, store, and remove. After making a bunch of ice balls, these are super easy to use. The fill line is intuitive but, to avoid the little nipple from the relief hole in the lid, you do need to be exact on how much water you add if you want a perfect sphere. Personally, the nipple isn't a big deal as I put that side down and you never see it - it melts fast anyway. Removing the balls is also pretty easy; just run the mold and lid under warm water for a few seconds and they pop right out. Don't know how you could make it any easier. Molds are good quality and would certainly buy again - may get some for X-mas presents.

Bad design
It’s impossible to get the ice out unless it comes out attached to the lid. If you take the lid off and the ball of ice is stuck to the bottom, you basically end up having to run the ice under water and melt the ice until it’s good and ready to come out of the mold without a fight. And by that time you’re left with 1/2 the ice.

Very User Friendly
Easy to fill, easy to remove balls. Good results every time. Bought two more after using the first two for a couple of days. My friends love them but are now drinking more of my liquor than previously. Not sure if that's good or bad.

Good sized ice ball
Sometimes the ice maker just doesn't make enough. We make these up and keep a bag for back-up! Going to try using leftover coffee and tea for summer drinks.

If you like these things a lot
Work as described. Plastic still flexible enough to pop out the iceball even after being my cryogenic chest freezer. Fill em a little past the line. Shove the top down. Excess water comes out a hole in the lid. Cover the hole with your finger. Flip it over to and put excess water down the sink. If you like these things a lot, buy more than 4. I'm patient, so I just make the spheres and accumulate them in a big freezer bag.

Yes they create frozen spheres; no they are not clear.
The molds make frozen spheres. Do not expect crystal clear ice spheres. Note that the manufacturer does not claim that you will obtain clear ice. The spheres, with all their "impurities" frozen in place, are pretty in a drink of any kind. Some people might even prefer the look of these spheres to the look of the difficult-to-create clear sphere.
