Highly Useful for Styling, but Durability is a Significant Concern
As a professional hairmaker who frequently creates and showcases intricate hairstyles for online tutorials and content, these Hicarer 1000 Mini Rubber Bands have proven to be exceptionally useful in my daily work. The sheer quantity provided in this pack is excellent value, ensuring I always have an ample supply on hand for various braiding, sectioning, and securing techniques. Their small size and black color allow them to blend seamlessly into most hair types, which is crucial for achieving the polished, invisible hold necessary for high-quality visual demonstrations of hairstyles. However, I must express a notable concern regarding the material and overall durability of these bands. While they offer good elasticity for initial application, the "rubber" composition appears to be prone to breakage with minimal tension or repeated use. It is a common occurrence for these bands to snap during the styling process, which can disrupt workflow and necessitate redoing sections of hair. This lack of robustness significantly impacts their reliability, particularly when creating styles intended for extended wear or for professional clients. Given their primary utility in professional styling and content creation, an upgrade to a stronger, more resilient material would be highly beneficial. A more durable elastic that maintains its discreet profile would greatly enhance the product's value and efficiency for users who rely on these bands for demanding applications. In conclusion, while the quantity and aesthetic discretion of these mini rubber bands are commendable for advertising and demonstrating hairstyles, their inherent fragility is a considerable drawback. I recommend them for light, single-use applications where breakage is not critical, but for sustained or professional use, a sturdier alternative would be preferable.

Doesn't tangle or break easily
I have been using these almost every day for the past five months and haven't had one break on me yet! These are pretty thick rubber hair bands, which I like, because they don't get easily tangled in my hair. The rubber is soft and doesn't cling but will tightly secure your hair all day without stretching out. Very affective and gets the job done.

Fall apart
I know these say for children's hair. I have used rubber bands to make makeshift toys for years (well guess it's been over a decade now, time flies as you get older), and never in my life have I seen such flimsy rubber bands. I usually turned these at most 3 or 4 times the width of the index or middle finger. Used about 200 of them the first day and after no more than 30 minutes every single one had snapped. Tried same thing the next day, about 500 units. Came back an hour later and the toys had all virtually exploded. Looked like a graveyard of rubber bands. They do seem to stretch okay; I pushed them to the limits and managed to stretch most of them around my fist at least once, though about 80% of them snapped as soon as you try to start a second loop from that even the size of an index finger. This was just to test their limits, not for practical actual daily use. So, I would not recommend using these on anything you plan on holding together for more than 30 minutes. I even for the heck of it tried triple wrapping another 50 or so around a thick sharpie marker, and same story. 15 minutes later, 80% of them had snapped off and the rest began shooting everywhere as soon as I picked it up. They become a light gray color as soon as you begin stretching them as well, almost a faint blueish. The regular Annie blacks I buy similar to this, I have impromptu toys I made back in 2017 still sitting on my desk to this day, still as black as the day I got them. I hate to leave a bad review, but I'd say stay away unless you know what you're getting into. Of course, now I have checked the reviews and realize I'm not alone in this. So, I may buy them again in the future if I want to play "pick up the random strands of rubber bands that shot into the nooks and crannies of random areas" again. I'm still finding pieces of them a week later. Atrocious, but funny, I guess. tldr verry flimsy, I already cleaned most of the mess or would have a picture. Seriously these are child abuse if you use them for kid's hair.

Long Lasting Pack Great for Kids’ Hairstyles!
This pack has lasted me such a long time! With 1000 pieces, I never have to worry about running out quickly. The bands are small, stretchy, and perfect for braiding or styling kids’ hair. They hold well without pulling or breaking the hair, which is especially important for little ones. They’re not the strongest bands, so some may snap here and there, but with how many come in the pack, it’s not a big deal. For the price, it’s an amazing value.

Cute but somewhat weak
I love the color variety and amount of rubber bands you get. My only complaint is these snap easily. They will snap while in my daughter’s hair and occasionally while I am putting them in. It’s not a huge deal since you get so many, but it’s very inconvenient if out and about. Gets a little frustrating when I have to replace two hair ties nearly 10 minutes after finishing a style.
