I have had my Ropode disabler installed for around a year. It's plug and play and works well. Believe it or not my fuel mileage is actually better when the engine does NOT drop to 4 cylinders. My normal drive to work was 32 miles. The best mileage I achieved before the disabler on my Silverado (summer temperatures) was 19.5, after installing the disabler I was hitting 22. Go figure!

Great product does as advertised.Vehicle offers more power as its stays in V6 mode. Also noticed better performance in the lower gears (less shuddering and hesitation).Took off one star as it’s pulling power from battery after car is off and I’ve left vehicle. I would unplug if I’m not planning to drive for a few days.

I Bought this AMF deactivator it was delivered in one day . The delivery was great packaged well .I plugged it in It kept my 2012 Chevrolet silverado in v8 mode and it stated there . It did exactly what they said it would do . I've had it a couple days , not sure about the longevity on this product yet but so far so good . I'm happy with my purchase.

This disabler works folks!!!! I have been using for a good week now, my 5.3 is purring away at 550 RPM. Shame on you GM, you have a great engine, but added that junk, engine destroying DFM crap! I have a 2021 Sierra and have had a bunch of needless anxiety about the DFM destroying my engine and electrical system. The 2021 and 2014 5.3 years, I understand are the worse off. No more rattling lifters and all the crud affecting my charging system; when I would forget to use the dash DFM disabling switch!!! These engines are designed to idle, that ever so needed oil lubrication and continuing charging voltage is CRITICAL. Almost makes me what to go to Ram or Ford.

2017 Camaro 3.6L V6. Works perfectly! No more shudders between V4 and V6 modes. Haven't noticed any battery drain either, though it does leave a little LED on at all times. Not throwing any dash lights or engine codes.

I had a real issue with my 2018 Corvette, I had purchased it used and immediately noticed a engine miss at a steady 65mph. After spending alot of money with a high end shop (throwing parts at it at my expense) they solved nothing. I read about this simple plug and play part and it 100% fixed my issue. I believe the eco system was constantly trying to engage. At any rate this inexpensive part fixed my issue, couldn't be happier that I found it.
