Aveda never disappoints. Probably one of the best shampoo brands out there. Natural smelling, lathers easily. It keeps my colour on longer and leaves my hair soft and manageable.

It's not cheap but good shampoo is worth it. I've tried every kind of shampoo from super cheap to very expensive, and Aveda is an old favorite that I return to again and again as my hair likes it. This one smells earthy but not in a dirt kind of way. It's not too strong. Some of Aveda's scents can be overpowering but this shampoo is nice. A little goes a long way as it can lather a lot. Use less than you may think. It's not stripping. If you have color-treated hair, this will keep the color longer and help with the 'roughness' that color-treated hair can have. Though my hair isn't particularly soft after using the shampoo, it is after the conditioner. But it doesn't leave my hair limp or greasy.
