No problems here...
Works great! The OrangeRx Receiver arrived very quickly. It has a very sturdy protective case on it and dual antennas. plugged it up and bound it to my Spektrum DX4e transmitter with no problems. I have heard others say they had a problem with signal loss but I have not had any such problems. I have flown it out to several hundred meters on my home-built P-51 Mustang and didn't have any signal loss. It works great and is good on the wallet.

Problem free DSMX Rx.
Bound to a Spektrum DXe 1st try. No loss of bind since. Reassuring double antenna (although one antenna Rx has never been an issue). Nicely built. Reliable after many uses so far with a long range for my sons sailboat. Arrived in time to equip his boat!

Works well for the price
I bought this receiver to have a second option VS the one that came with my Spektrum DX6i. I have now used it a few times and have not had any of the issues with brown-out's that other people are reporting. That said, I am only flying in a small area, and I don't try to fly long range or anything like that. Works great for my FT Arrow.

Everything works fine with a different receiver
Just tried to put this into a plane today. Bind process goes well, but then none of my channels work. Lights show that I'm bound. Transmitter shows that I'm bound. But my ESC never fully initializes because this receiver does not see my throttle at all.Everything works fine with a different receiver. This one is garbage.

Works perfectly. I recommend.
This little receiver gets the job done perfectly. I use it in my FliteTest DTFB models and it works perfectly. Just make sure you keep the antennas perpendicular to eachother. I get great range and have never had it drop out on me. Pairs immediately with my Spektrum TX.

Make sure you do a full range test before you fly
The orange RX seemed to be the perfect 6 channel receiver for a decent price. It bound really quick and easily to my Spektrum DXS transmitter, and each channel is nicely labeled so you know exactly where to plug everything. The reciever itself is pretty small and light weight so should work for pretty much any model. Now for the negative part of my review. I was so excited to try this out that I quickly installed it into one of my models and took it to the field to fly. I got it up in the air and was able to do a lap around the pattern and then suddenly I lost all control of my plane and it spiralled toward the ground. It reconnected right before it hit and I was able to save it. Thinking my canopy might be blocking the signal I took it off and tried flying it again with the receiver and antennas totally exposed with nothing to block the signal. Again I had the same issue flew it around for a few seconds then lost connection, and then reestablished connection shortly after. Luckily I was able to save my plane both times, however I was pretty upset with the situation. I'm not sure if my issues were due to compatibility with my transmitter or if I just had a faulty receiver. Either way if you buy this I'd recommend doing a full range test before you fly, and make sure you test it with the motor running and with the plane in multiple attitudes so you can accurately determine whether you will lose connection or not.

Great product
Best rx for the price as long as your not trying to fly long distance its good for approximately 300m which is good for a beginner lime me would definitely buy again and tell others to buy good bang for buck

Loved this OrangeRX
Loved this OrangeRX. The quality on this unit is great and easy to read all of the labels. This unit feels very light, but the plastic is solid.I would highly recommend this receiver to everyone! The quality and price are great!
