The keyboard was well packaged, and works fine. Of course, you need a YouTube video for the installation; it's a good deal more complicated than, say, replacing a broken iPhone screen.The keyboard comes without any documentation or YouTube installation link, which would have been a useful feature. The only YouTube video I could find for my model of Aspire had no audio, and doesn't adequately show the way the three ribbon cables connect.

Check your laptop before buying
I know, it should be obvious but the seller's videos lead me to believe this would be possible for my laptop. It wasn't, as I was not willing to break parts to get to the area that this keypad would go. I wanted to be able to use my laptop after I was done repairing a broken key, and I don't have a soldering iron handy. I wish the seller had made it clear what was required to use this part effectively, but it was really my own fault for doing incomplete research. Since I didn't have accurate information, this part was completely useless and had to be returned.
