Great Wet Palette - Correct Mix of Value for $$
Having read the reviews for this product I think there are a few things that need to be covered. First, the intention of a wet palette like this is NOT to keep your paints fresh indefinitely. It is meant to give you the proper thinning of your paints as you apply them. It can also provide you a perfect area for dynamic color mixing. It will allow you to keep your custom mixes for a period of time with proper storage and care. The size is perfect, the included sponge and parchment paper work well to provide properly thinned paints and to preserve those paints over an extended painting session. If you are using the right paint it will keep them wet and workable for several days......IF you store it properly (lid held on with the elastic band in a cool place).Storing in my house, which I keep at 68 degrees the palette has retained moisture for 4+ days (by then my paints had separated but the palette was still good to go).The brush storage area is a nice bonus and works well with army painter brushes and has an area for normal round handle brushes as well. All in all it's a good package, yes you can accomplish the same thing with some parchment paper, paper towels, and any plastic container, but this is a neat clean package that stores well. It's worth the money to me.Ignore the people complaining about the sponge being folded in half for shipping. it has zero impact and you won't even notice it once you wet the sponge for use. Chalk it up to one of those things people complain about for no real reason.Pros:It does the job wellHas brush storage built inSolid construction that fits together wellIncludes two sponges and a lots of parchment paper (enough supplies for a LONG time)Will retain water and save paints overnight for several nights (though there are better wet palettes for 2x the price that can do it better)This is a sweet spot in value for the dollarCons:You can DIY something that will work every bit as well as this for less than 5 dollarsIt would not have been hard for them to add a rubber o-ring to the lid which would allow it to keep even more moisture for longer periods of timeThough it will stay wet for several days, most paints will suffer pigment separation after a few hours (blame the paint not the palette for that)

Essential product for use of acrylic paints.
I use this product to keep my paint moist and prevent it from drying out . It works with regular acrylic and with Army Painter paints. You can travel with it if you remove excess water. It isn't water proof and will leak. Cleaning is relatively easy - it is all plastic and the pads can either be washed and rung out or thrown away. The box comes with 2 pads and many paint sheets.

Brush Slots and Lid
The wet pallet works great! The only dislikes i have are the brush slots for storing brushes and the way the lid is held on. I understand that the brush slots are probably specific to The Army Painter brushes, but it would be nice if they were a little more universal. The lid is held on by an elastic band that if lost, would limit your ability to travel. Overall, this is still a great wet pallet and I would highly recommend it to anyone who paints! The case itself is very durable and lightweight which makes it perfect for travel.

Good tool to have, but a bit too pricey
I was using a plastic sandwich box, wet paper towel, and parchment paper previously. It worked great and keep my paints wet for an extended period of time. So why the upgrade? I guess I just wanted something that was a bit neater on my table.Things I like about this is it looks great. Very clean and sleek looking. I love the paint brush holders inside. The foam retains water pretty well though I think I should have gotten a bit more wet. It is not as air tight as my sandwich box even with elastic band. It does the job though. Itâs a great palette to have, but if you want to save money for more paints just use what I was using previously.

Love it!
This is a great wet pallette! When properly hydrated it keeps paints fresh for at least 24hrs. Enables me to put down the brush, and saves allot of paint! Would buy again.

Always a solid option
It is simple and cheap to make your own wet pallet but this is a good purchase with a small case and brush holder inside to keep them organized while you paint. Remember to clean it and not leave it for weeks to mold and mildew up đ

This is exactly what I needed for military figure painting
Awesome wet pallet with sturdy construction and great little storage tray for my brushes as well. Keeps my paint wet for days. Note! Tamiya acrylic paint only stays wet for a day or two while Vallejo paints stay wet for days.

Works great!
I've been using it for two weeks and I love it!No, it's not air tight, but my paints stay wet for a few days at least. Smaller splotches dry out after that, large amounts of paint stay just fine for nearly a week. No problems with anything bleeding through the paper yet and I've changed it already.I've seen some reviews around that say it doesn't spread out and fit the container, it does you just have to make sure it gets wet enough and you let it sit for a bit. I've not had any mold issues, but I also took some other advice to put a few drops of peroxide on it to keep mold from growing on it.The brush clips are supposed to fit army painter brushes, no idea but most of my brushes fit in. It's to keep my first-string brushes in there so they don't get mixed up with the older ones I beat up a bit.Overall, I like it a lot and it has made painting easier. I'm more of a paint for 30-40 minutes an evening type, so it lets me stretch my paints and mix up specific colors for a few days to finish a model. The only thing I ding it on is if you want to get replacement papers from Amazon, they're nearly as much as the palette set up themselves. I know they're much less elsewhere.NOTE - don't put washes (like Army Painter strong tone or GW Nuln Oil) on it. Use a regular plastic, dry palette for washes, They're too thin and probably will bleed through on the paper.

Es macht doch einen Unterschied
Lange Zeit arbeitete ich mit meiner Do It Yourself Lösung (Brotdose, Zewa, Brotpapier). Einfach ausprobieren ;)
