Great product

These protein cookies are the best tasting vegan, soy-free option we have found so far. The taste is good for this type of product; a little salty but that's probably just this particular flavor. The large size cookies are almost too big, and at 16 grams of protein each seem like more of a meal replacement, while the small size is a great snack with 8 grams of protein per cookie. Some flavors can be hard to find locally, so I was thrilled to see this 12 pack of a rare flavor available here on Amazon. At about a dollar per cookie, these are comparably priced to what I've seen locally. The shelf life of these seems to be good if stored properly; others we bought have tasted fresh after six months of sitting in the pantry. The box I received had an expiration date eight months from arrival. Shipping was fast and they arrived fully sealed and intact with no damage.

The taste is …. how do I say … odd. Obviously, they're trying to do what they can while still trying to keep it keto, but I do feel you have to not expect too much from the flavor. The first cookie I had I was like "ew...what in god's name is this." But after the 4th or 5th (or 8th) cookie, I was like.... it's close to flavorless (I'm from the islands so flavor is ERRRTHING) but for me, it's totally worth it for when I'm craving sweets without kicking me out of ketosis. I'm doing veganism + ketogenic, so even finding options like this is rare (or sometimes expensive), so I'll take what I can get.

The package of this Lenny & Larry's Keto Cookie (chocolate chip) subtly reads "with a touch of peanut butter" but all I taste is peanut butter. I dont like it at all, personally. In fact, I dont want any peanut butter in my chocolate chip cookies, I think peanut butter overpowers the normal taste of a chocolate-chip cookie. The texture of the 'cookie' is not remotely like a cookie either...it reminds me of some 18th century style peanut butter hard-tac wafer with chocolate chips in it. I'm sure that others might love this product. It's not gross or something I can't eat, but I will not order it again. There's other brands that make keto cookies, and I still have yet to find my favorite one. I've found some that come close, so I'll keep ordering the others until I find something better. Also FYI, I dont expect to find a perfect keto cookie, especially when the reference point is literal junk food and many people expect to find something that tastes like junk food and sugar, while still being healthy...thats probably not going to happen in a perfect way. However my main gripes are that I want something that offers a true cookie or cake-like texture which would probably mean using almond flour, has MCT oil and plenty of protein in it, no added sugar, probably uses monk-fruit, maybe grass-fed collagen, has dark chocolate-chips, and doesnt cost a ton of money. I suppose I'm asking for the impossible here. Perfect Keto used to have great chocolate chip cookies that I liked enough, and they kept me feeling satiated and no hunger-spikes, but I suppose many other Perfect Keto customers complained they were dry and not good, and Perfect Keto discontinued it recently lol... I can't win.

The chocolate chip ones look like an unusually flat chocolate chip cookie. The texture is soft. The flavor doesn't remind me of a chocolate chip cookie at all. Tastes of artificial sweetener, a lot. The chocolate chips taste more like a blob of cocoa powder with zero sweetness. They're edible but don't really remind me of a real chocolate chip cookie except vaguely in appearance. Maybe the other cookies are more like the real thing, I can't say. These definitely are not.

I love these cookies but am disappointed to see the price go up so high. I keep them in my purse to eat on the go and I love to sit and have them with a cup of coffee as a mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack.If L & L continue making these KETO cookies why don't they sell them in the grocery stores??

These settle a dessert craving so it's great they're Keto. They're small so not very filling. They have fiber so drink a lot of water when you eat one (helps be more filling too). I like to microwave mine for 20 seconds and tell myself it's a fresh baked cookie. Lol. They're dry and not the same texture as a soft cookie but I think they taste good. These last a long time and great for travel.
