bodkar Wall Mounted Shoe Rack
I needed something to contain all the flip flops and slides that accumulate by the door leading out to our pool, but I don't have much extra space. This wall-mounted shoe rack caught my eye.The rack is made of a lighter-weight plastic. This is intended for 3 (adult) or 4ish (kid) lightweight flips or slides. Anything exceeding that will cause it to bow.Assembly is straightforward. Choose your length, and set it with the hardware provided. The gray middle piece does have a name printed on it, and I don't care for the look of labels, but I simply reversed the gray piece so the name faces the wall, and the rack has an overall cleaner look.Attaching the rack to the wall is done via adhesive pads. I don't care for adhesive installation, and would have preferred a hardware installation option, or failing that, a release-type adhesive. I suspect I'll have to touch up the paint whenever this rack comes down.My walls don't have much texture at all (smooth), so I went ahead and stuck them to the wall. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't stick well to a moderately or heavily textured wall. Then, I let the adhesive set for a full 24 hours before I attempted to add any weight to the rack. The rack has been up and holding 3 pairs of adult sandals for days now. It works as I need it to. I'd prefer it didn't have the printing on the gray piece, and I think it could be improved with a release style adhesive pad to lower the risk of wall damage upon removal. As of this writing, the cost for 1 rack is $7.99. That feels fair enough for what you get. If you need something heavier duty, this might not be for you, but it suits my needs.

works great!
these work great however the self adhesive stuff does start to peel off after a length of time. i just put some screws through them and perfection! all my slides are nice and organized and easy to see.

Need better adhesion, can't stay on the wall
Installed this but it felt off the dry wall after a few days. Maybe It need to stick on a even smoother surface? I guess the glue can't be too strong or it might rip the paint off of the drywall but it can't stick on either.I place 1 pair of adult flip flop and 2 pair of children flip flops. all are plastic/rubber based so they are not that heavy.

Did not stay attached to wall
A great idea, but I couldn’t keep mine. Attached to the wall, kept falling off.

Lightweight
The glue tabs did not hold very well. Might be able to use it with the screws. Lightweight and easy to install, unfortunately it only came with a single pair of tabs.

Shoe storage
Interesting solution to shoe/sandal storage. For all the shoes, flip flops and slides i have i'd need a bar that went around my whole closet probly. I wear size 6-7, depending on the brand/shoe. I was able to fit only 4 pairs of sandals, and i had to angle them to make them all fit in side by side. I put the bar together as the instructions advised, meaning i used two screws on each end, so it took those 4 screw slots out of the shoe storing area. The bar would've been longer if i only utilized one screw slot on each end, but i wasn't sure if it would be less stable that way, since the instructions say to use all 4 screws. i didn't check before putting it up though, since it looked roomy.. The sticky hooks are seriously sticky and i don't think they are coming loose anytime soon. It is pretty sturdy when put together, hard plastic and metal screws. Seems to hold up well w/ the hooks. Probly won't work for fat shoes, like hard material high tops or thick shoes, but there is space left between the bar and my slides w/ a semi thick bottom.. Interesting idea, i would just need quite a few of these to hold everything!

Not really effective
Large slippers or more than 2 pair are enough to make this pop off the door.
