Good quality, many options, no guidance?
I got this because I have an ankle that I injured a couple months ago that could benefit from some at-home PT. The boards feel well-made and strong, so I have no doubt that they'll hold up under regular use from me, a 6'1", 250lb man. The parts are pretty easy to connect, and the instructions are clear on a handful of specific combinations. My big issue with the set is that there is ZERO guidance on what various setups are meant to be used for. Sure, maybe there are thousands of combinations, but that doesn't do me a lot of good as a novice hoping to build ankle strength at home without the help of a professional telling me what to do. I feel like in general it's unwise to use exercise equipment without guidance and knowing what you're doing, and the instructions provide no help on what muscles/tendons/ligaments you're working by setting it up in different ways. I would be able to say that this was a good value for the price ($29 and a 15% coupon at checkout when writing this review) if it only included a nice little instruction guide on some recommended layouts for various ankle exercises, but for just a few pieces of sturdy plastic and a "good luck" on my exercise, I don't think I'd get this set again.

Takes up a lot less space than a bosu ball
I *think* this is helping but it's hard to tell. My joints are very loose, so it takes a lot of work to get them functioning well. I'm always hoping for some kind of dramatic improvement with stuff like this, but I'm sure it will just take time. I've used a bosu ball similarly, and this takes up a lot less space. The different configurations are interesting to play with. You do need a hard floor for this to be of any use; even our low-pile carpet provides too much stability.

LOVE THIS!!!
Ok so there are already pics so I'm not going to include any more, but you get the gist, right? It's a couple of plastic boards and some "balls" and "sticks" you can stick on the bottom of them to influence how these boards sit on the ground. Then you put whichever foot/ankle/calf you want to exercise on that board and attempt to balance. It. is. awesome. (Note: be sure you're not around any sharp objects and you also have something immediately at hand to balance on or catch yourself ie, the back of a chair in arm's reach.)I used something similar to this in physical therapy after a foot surgery and never really thought about it afterwards. But WOW this feels so good on your feet/ankles - and tbh it does not hurt working on your calves too. All of those work in concert to keep your balance on this kind of board.Your feet are important - you're on them all the time. It isn't a bad thing to work 'em out and make sure they stay in good shape, too. Most especially if you're trying after-injury exercises. (As with any form of exercise, ensure that your doctor approves this kind of exercise prior to use.)This comes with one large board, one smaller board, two "balls", two small sticks, two longer sticks, and little "rubber" things to attach everything together. There's also a pamphlet telling you some basics, and a vinyl bag for it (thank goodness, that's a lot of little parts!). All of the parts are plastic except the vinyl bag and the little "rubber" things to attach things together.Overall, highly recommend. My feet felt GREAT after working on this. If you have foot issues, this could be the little tool you never knew you always needed.

Works good
You can set it up a couple different ways. I think it fun. Should come in pairs. This can actually be funny watching people try to balance.

Very useful for PT
I thought I would try this but I also thought I would totally hate it and it would be a complete waste of my time. I was wrong. The instructions are not useful at all. It tells you that you can use this for all sorts of things but doesn't tell you which things or how to configure this so you can use it for said thing. Please give better instructions.I tore every ligament in my ankle and had to do physical therapy. One thing I had to do was balance on my bad foot on unsteady ground to strengthen that ankle. Once PT ended I didn't have the equipment to do that exercise anymore. That's what made me try this. Well I just took a guess on how to set it up based off how the PT equipment felt. This feels just like that. I am looking forward to strengthening my ankle.Seriously, please fix instructions so they are useful. Thanks.

Interesting concept, could use more guidance. Might be more intermediate than beginner level
I have super flat feet and after 8 hours on them they are hurting. I got this to help strengthen my feet and ankles. I do think that it will do that however, I really wish it came with more guidance. Will the different setups help in different ways? Is it better to start with one kind then work your way up? Increasing difficulty and strengthening? Also, balancing on one leg is harder than balancing on two (I’d say). So, maybe if you already have ankle and foot problems that contribute to a lack of balance, then this may be an intermediate or experienced beginner tool. I will continue trying and report back if anything.I will say it is an interesting concept and when I’ve used it I felt like I could immediately feel it working. I tried “different combinations” and didn’t feel like I liked one over the other really- just kept wondering the whole time about what I was doing and how it was helping.I feel like it is pretty durable and well made. Though, there are a lot of pieces, including two small rubbery connector pieces and I hope I will be able to keep track of everything. It comes with a drawstring bag to put everything in so I hope that will help.
