Lovely flavours with a hint of orange I felt. I added some cardamon pods to create the flavour I remember so well. Would definitely buy again. Thank you.

Not overpowering and makes a great chai latte.

The quality of the tea used is very poor. The tea needs to be strong and bold to carry the flavours of the spices and this was incredibly weak. It tastes no different to the masala chai teabags you get in the supermarkets.

My son at University and while at home really enjoys and loves drinking Masala Chai. The only issue is that it takes a long time to make properly and with so so results.We found this Masala Chai loose leaf tea to be overall outstanding and great value as it tastes great, very flavourful and a really great scent/smell to it. They use premium ingredients overall hence why the end tea drink product always tastes so great! Hints of Ginger, Pepper, Cloves, Cinnamon and of course Cardamom are all there in 1 package vs buying them separately.The pack is loose leaf (not powdered) and easily resealable to keep fresh for the next use. I think the taste and scents are outstanding overall and found myself drawn to have a cuppa with my son when he makes this at home!

For some reason it has been a long time since I drank masala chai tea and this one from HiipTea is absolutely wonderful. I am a regular drinker of loose leaf black tea, mainly Assam, and was keen to try this masala chai. I made my first cuppa using 1 tsp and steeping for 4 minutes, initially sipping it black before adding a little milk, the latter being my preference with black teas and for this one. The Assam gives it a robust flavour, the spices are overpowering, but in a good way, and make the tea taste quite sweet. I am someone who never puts sugar in tea, I do not like sweet tea but I liked this tea a lot. It makes such a great alternative to my usual brews. It is a fantastic afternoon or evening tea and whether you have tried masala chai tea before or not, this is an excellent one. The best before date is Feb 2025, but this bag is unlikely to last beyond Feb 2024. If you buy the 175g bag (current price is £8.75) then this tea is very good value and to be recommended.Update: although this bag was provided through the Vine program, I liked it so much I have ordered (and paid) for more.

This is a great 100g bag of masala chai which has a wonderfully strong scent and contains a great array of spices. The pack is a good size and should last for a good few cups of tea. It comes in sustainable packaging with attractive labelling and branding. This loose leaf tea is a combination of cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger and pepper. For the best results, you just add boiling water to a spoonful or two of the tea and let it brew for about 3-5 minutes. As it is loose leaf, you will need to use a strainer teapot/infuser.
