Great Coffee and Service
We have been buying Luccaffe coffee for our espresso machine from Espresso Tiamo for many years. Mama Lucia is a favorite if you like a strong dark espresso with decent crema that also stands up to steamed milk in a latte. Recommended.

Tastes great and is not too strong
It has a very nice light taste to it. Not overpowering, and not too strong either. I'd go elsewhere if you want to be jolted awake by your espresso, but if you just want a nice little pick me up these are perfect.

Like the coffee. Packaging hic-up.
I enjoy ordering the pods from Amazon, especially the mixed boxes. This time I ordereda solid box of LuCaffe and a solid box of LaVazza. The coffee taste very good but the packaging line needs some quality management. About 15% of the inner ESE pods in my shipment were sealed in to the Mylar outer packaging causing them to tear when the foil is opened (and occasionally disgorge their contents on my white counter and floor in an annoying fashion). I will order the LuCaffe again in anticipation that the packaging issue will be resolved.

For the espresso and espresso drink lovers out there, you should really give this a try!
I prefer to grind fresh espresso beans for my espresso. But of course, that takes time and does create a bit of a mess to clean up. So I started trying ESE pods as an alternative. I've tried other ESE espresso pods, and this one is my favorite. It's balanced in taste but is strong on the caffeine, the way I like it. I have an cheap 15 bar pump espresso machine and have been able to pull the espresso from these pods without any problems. And of course, the clean up is a cinch.

Not the best espresso shot I've made, it's about average. IMO it's not very strong although the flavor is smooth. If you like a stronger shot with lots of crema this one is not for you.

fine pods indeed.
Lucaffe' is my go to e.s.e. pod. be it mama, petite e dolce or their house blend, you can't beat their flavor profile.

Favorite ESE pods
Takes me back to Italy! I also like Mr. Exclusive. But right now Mamma Lucia is my favorite because it transports me back to morning breakfasts when travelling around Italy.
