Great and very sturdy item , well made looks stunning and colour is beautiful

I could gush about the gorgeous navy blue colour, or that it looks neat and tidy on my pillar! But you're not here for that, right?! So here is the really important points:• Installation: I found this an easy install. Follow their instructional video and you really can't go wrong.• weather durability: I live in a very wet part of Ireland, the mid lands, and so far, the letterbox has kept the lashings of rain out. Bone dry inside! I think a letterbox with an opening at the front, rather than top opening, has a better chance of keeping water out.• size: I'm glad I bought this size, perfect for A4 letters. Also, the opening is not too wide which means someone can't get their hand in to take your post out.I would say that it feels kind of light and flimsy, however, if treated properly it shouldn't affect it's durability. I mean, it's only meant to sit there on the wall and collect post? It's not designed for heavy items or to be treated roughly. Go easy on the lock when opening and closing and it will be fine!

I sacrificed my letterbox when I installed a cat flap in my door and although the post can be put through the cat flap, sometimes I lock it. So I got this. It's nice and slim so I was able to attach it to the door rather than a wall and I don't need to go outside to retrieve the post.It's very well finished with smooth paint and a smart look The colour matches my door so it's very discreet. The lock/key feels quite basic and won't keep a determined thief out but I guess this is just to stop the casual pilferer. The slot is wide enough for A4 size letters, but not really thick letters or small parcels. You can't put your whole hand through the flap.It comes pre-drilled with fitting holes, but my panelled door needed the holes in a different place so I drilled new ones. Fitting was otherwise easy – you get wall plugs and screws x 4.Overall, I think this is very good.

Very happy with this letterbox, I did a lot of research before I settled on this and felt value for quality wise it was a good bet for our porch. I haven't been disappointed and we've been using this for about 18 months now with no issues.It is a good size and fits in large envelopes, magazines etc no problems; and has a good storage capacity if you are away for a few days. The key lock mechanism is easy to use and there have been no signs of weather damage, however it's important to say that this is used in a covered porch so doesn't come in contact with persistent heavy rain.We found this easy to install too. Overall good value for an decent letterbox which looks well an isnt an eyesore in our porch.

We purchased this postbox in order to try to keep heat in the house by blocking off our traditional, draughty, letterbox slot.The postbox is well made, quite light-weight metal, with a very good paint finish.It's not made in Germany, as the brand name and adverts suggest, but is made in the PRC; as stated on the packaging.A bit fiddly to install, as you need to line up 4 x drill holes, and small rubber grommets, and 4 x screws; and get the whole thing level. . . !It's quite narrow, part of the reason we bought it was that it didn't stick out too far from the wall. The downside of this is that stiffer A4-sized items will need to be carefully bent a bit in order for them to drop down safely. In fairness, the postbox is only designed to take C4 size envelopes, so if you need to take regular A4 deliveries, you need to get a box deeper than the 112mm this one offers. Luckily our postie is great and considerate! :-)But if you get the Smol dishwasher tablet monthly delivery, they do not "bend" and end up sticking out the letter flap. . . !The small keys supplied are a bit stiff in the lock, and the postbox is not really designed as a "secure" postbox, more for monitored domestic use.All in all, so far; it's weather-resistant, looks good installed, and seems easier to receive post than our traditional letter flap and "draught proof" brushes, with fewer slightly crumpled envelopes arriving. It has made a noticeable difference in keeping our hall warmer, and therefore our house warmer, which is a real plus point.

Sturdy. Looks well. Only problem is the upper screw holes are directly behind the flap bar, so driver/ drill was awkward and at a sharp angle. Should be an inch lower

Ordered this as previously order a box which was not secure enough, I could get my hand in the slot and remove post without unlocking, this one has smaller slot so does the job. Looks nice, it is what it is. Comes with 2keys and is easy to hang.
