Great when used correctly.
So I've bought several different sizes of these and they work really great! Mostly cutting thinner stainless with them, and doing so, they cut thru the stainless like a hot knife thru butter. I've only had one failure, but I blame myself on that one for using a hand drill on exhaust at a terrible angle on an elbow. If you're using these in a tubing notcher or a drill press where you can control your feed and pressure, they should last a very long time.

Works best at low speed.
Worked well when used in a mill at low speed to drill through 5/8” mild steel plate. Would stop cutting and then had to stop and clean shavings several times during process. But still sharp at the end of the cut.

Works great, but the pilot will break if you’re not careful
This hole saw and the pilot bit are well made I believe, because ultimately it made the hole and didn’t struggle to make the cut in 16 gauge of stainless steel. However my reason for one less star is that the pilot bit broke when it cleared the material and the main saw engaged to cut. As I’m not an experienced machinist, I’m not sure if it’s my fault - it’s a hand held drill and I should have anticipated the twisting force as the main bit engaged. But then most people who buy this are DIY’ers and will probably do it for first time. I appreciate if the manufacture included this warning to look out, or even better if they can add additional pilot bit for a marginally increased price. (I couldn’t continue to drill and succeed if I didn’t have a second hole saw of same brand in different size that had its own pilot bit). As a tip for others, use caulking to build a dam for your oil or water for cooling the bit and material (see picture)

Metal working
Good for cutting metal, not so good for wood ,tends to clog.

I was impressed with the quality.
I was impressed how this 2 in TCT carbide tipped hole say cut my 3 in thick counter for dropping my computer cables. It handled the thickness easily but you must go slow and vacuum the dust about every 3/4 in. of cutting and let the blade cool down.I got a smooth clean cut . A good idea is to wire brush the carbide tips after each cut it helps keep the hole saw in optimal cutting condition. Good design with above average cutting speed compared to other hole saws.

No replacement pilot bits available from seller.
It cuts a nice hole but the center bit snapped on the second hole and the seller has no way to sell a replacement pilot bit. Seems crazy to not sell the consumables for this product.
