nice coffee table book
Nice coffee table book. Informative. Quite heavy. Looks good. After reading it I decided to add more information. The book is good quality in terms of heavy hard back book. The information is short, concise and informative for anyone wishing to plan travel destination. It provides an incentive to research further information on line, so a bit like a reference book. It provides plenty of ideas for the intrepid traveller. There are good photographs too to inspire the budding traveller. For the price and quality, I recommend.

Plan your next adventure or just daydream from your favourite comfy chair
Whether you are an armchair traveller or seasoned adventurer, this book will be a welcome addition to your reference materials. The quality is everything you might expect from Lonely Planet, with gorgeous photography, excellent tips, and an inspiring list of 100 possible destinations that take in a wide range of destinations and might just include some that are new to you. It’s clearly laid out, the kind of large and heavy book you want to have out on display and curl up with a cuppa and dream about the next destination. With all the destinations included, I love that it even includes tips for shopping and eating, and provides a great jumping off point to research future trips or indeed just daydream.

Beautiful
This really is a beautiful book - hardback, quality paper, excellent photography and comprehensive, interesting information. It really is the archetypal coffee table book but it shouldn't just be used for decoration - even if you have a full bucket list of places you'd like to travel to, there's enough detail in this book to further inspire you. It would make a wonderful gift if you can bear to give it away!

Lonely Planet Dream Trips of The World – Great Inspirational Book with Helpful Tips
This Lonely Planet guide provides inspiration for travel experiences across the world and splits them into the continents (Americas, Europe, Africa & The Middle East, Asia and Oceania). I really like the way the book is laid out and it feels modern, has an easy to digest layout and beautiful imagery. It has a clear contents page and is easy to navigate with easy to read, clear print. The book is a hardback and measures 23.9cm x 27.8cm with a thickness of 2.6cm so is relatively large and therefore not ideal for travelling with, instead this is the perfect coffee table book. One small niggle is that it doesn’t have a paper cover to protect it so it may become scuffed over time. The book has 312 pages with 100 trips highlighted in the book. Each of the 100 destinations has a ‘At A Glance’ section which highlights what to eat and drink, where to stay, a special experience and a unique purchase you could make. There is also a section that highlights the practical elements of the trip including getting there and around, when to go and things to note as well as a suggested itinerary with length of time required. The book includes useful tips and must do experiences, as well as stories from travellers that have already visited these amazing places. Priced at £25.98 at the time of reviewing, this is a lovely present for a keen explorer or as a gift for yourself! As a guide it gives great inspiration and I would highly recommend it if you are stuck for ideas – a lovely book particularly as a Christmas or birthday present!
