great value. not super noisy decent torque

they are strong and seem to be good they work with my lmt pushing the big tire really easy and there faster then i thought price don't hurt the wallet to bad either

They worked as advertised

This servo fits perfectly into the body of my scratch Traxxas 2WD Slash. The alignment is spot on with the mounting holes. You get an ample amount of control horns for any application.I used the metal horn for my Slash. I like this supplied horn because it has three mounting screws which retain it solidly in place on the servo post. Using a servo tester, I centered the servo and gave it some run in time to make sure it operated correctly. The servo is fast and has plenty of torque.The only thing that I could not do was place the metal control horn at 90 degrees under my Slash body as it was slightly too long. This was not an issue though. You can see from my photo how I installed it. It works fine in this orientation. If you are looking for a replacement for your Slash stock servo, I would recommend this one.

These servos work well. However, I'm not aware of any RC cars that take a 270 degree servo. So unless your radio lets you limit the servo, this will be too touchy and also possibly damage itself/the car as it tries to push past the design limits. They are very strong, and do come with decent plastic servo horns of every variety. This is good for robotics and animatronic projects. If you aren't getting the power you're expecting out of this or any other high powered servo, you probably need extra or different electronics, since you won't get full power unless you supply 8.4 volts.

These things are awesome to have laying around to toss on your trail truck or your basher. they get the job done with decent torque and speed, if you need a good servo and dont feel like dropping 150 then these are a good choice

These are a very good value when you compare them to the normal 20kg servos you find. The only difference you need to take note on these is they are 270 degrees of rotation where a normal RC servo just needs 180. As long as your transmitter has thee ability to turn down the dual rate you can back that down. Just remember this so you don't end up over extending something at the start and possibly breaking something. Other than that, these have been working great in my son's crawler so far.

For the money it's hard to be the Stemedu 40KG Digital Servo High Speed Servo Set. The servo action is quick, precise, and reliable. There is no noise or twittering in the gear chain - smooth acting.I have these two set up for a twin Rudder behind a 1.60 O.S. Max swinging a 11" Tri-Blade Prop on my airboat - these are some tough Servos.I gave the Stemedu 40KG High Speed Digital Servos a Full Five Stars!
