METALS Men's Bolle Ever Glades Polarized GB10 Oleo AF Sunglasses, Small/Medium, Matte Gunmetal

I've owned a large number of sunglasses over the years but usually always come back to Oakley and Bolle. I've always been impressed with Bolle and have always found the quality of the frames and lenses comparable to Oakley. You tend to get a lot of "bang for your buck" and the features tend to outweigh anything else at the premium end of the market.These Everglades have great quality polarised lenses and a well put together hinged frame. The hinged arms help the glasses fit your face as they can individually flex outward or inward and stop them being shunted to one side of the other. The lenses have an Oleophobic and Hydrophobic coating which should be great, but that leads me to the downside and only rating them 3*.The coating seems to be a dust magnet and I don't just mean a few specs here and there, they can get a full on coating. I've had a number of occasions where I've had so much dust build up that they've started to get reflective on the inside. Shouldn't be a problem I hear you think, especially as they come with a nice protective case and cleaning cloth, but they just don't wipe clean very easily. The coating that seems to attract all of the dust also makes the cleaning cloth stick, so you try to wipe or rub them clean and the cloth just won't side, it sticks refusing to move. It can be quite annoying when you're out and about for the day and it's painful to clean the lenses. The best way I've found to clean them is to stick them under the tap with some mild hand soap and let them dry, then give them a going over with the cloth.I still like them and they are my daily glasses when the sun's out, but they have failed to make me love them.So in summary;Pros - price, polarised lenses, hinged frame, case and cleaning clothCons - dust magnets that are painful to keep clean when you're out and about.

My second pair, because I think the quality and clarity of the lenses is outstanding. I use them for driving, out on the water and for everyday wear. I find these comfortable and relatively robust.

Like Mendy's, "The best Jerry." Great Sunglasses. Had the same pair several years ago. Did not take care of them but got them again now and I will make sure to take great care of them. These have just taken over from my pair of Maui Jims.

Great style,Great feel but the lenses on the inside are bubbling up on the edges. Like a film over the glass...

Like these shades , got complement on them. There is film on the inside that peeled off when I cleaned it, I don't know what it was.

I should have paid attention close to some of the reviews. The coating on the inside of the lens bubbled as soon as I sweated on the lenses. Did a little further research and it turns out this is a common problem. They looked good, fit well, and had a nice tint. If you don't sweat or get them wet they will be great.
