Reliable and affordable
This gas leak detector works really well. We had gas leaking from our stove. it was good to have once we had the stove repaired just to make sure it still wasn’t leaking. Obviously, we tested it before the repair and then afterwards. It worked like a charm! There’s no reason to spend a lot of money for one of these devices. This one is a good value for the money, and was very reliable. I would buy it again and highly recommend it to others. Good thing to have around the house. We bring it with us when we stay at vacation rental places, because we had a bad experience once with another leaky stove. We returned to the rental after a long day out having fun and the house with filled with gas. No, every time we stay in a rental, we test the stove, the oven, and any wall heater they may have. Comes in very handy!

Very sensitive
Bought this to use checking for propane leaks on my RV. I am impressed with how sensitive it is. It found very small leaks that soapy water didn’t. Not false readings, when I tightened the fittings it no longer detected a leak.Very happy with it.

Works well and found a leak at connection near the heater valve in our gas furnace.
This gas detector works very well and we tested all our gas connections around our home. We found a leak that could have been extremely dangerous near the heater valve in our gas furnace. Fortunately we have a gas shutoff valve at the furnace that allowed us to confirm the problem and repair the leak. This product is worth every penny.

Works on everything I need it too.
I've used this to leak detector natural gas, standard propane, R-600a and R-290 and it works every time. Low battery usage, quick calibration, and the tip is small enough to fit in a gas range top to test the orifice.
