Chrono Cross Soundtrack : Piano Sheet Music Collection for Beginners/64 songs

My only minor issue is that there's kind of a strong smell, but this book is old enough to vote, so it's not a complaint or a problem with where it was stored and I'm sure it'll air out with use.Otherwise I will agree with other reviews that not every song fits under the "Easy" moniker, so if you're looking for that then you might be able to find some simpler fan arrangements online. For me it's much more important that the sheet music is accurate to what I know from the games, including as many familiar harmonies as physically possible, and this book definitely gives me that. But I'm also speaking from 10+ years of experience, with the luxury of large hands.That said, if you're a diehard fan who's new to piano, I still recommend it because there are going to be songs you can play and if nothing else some familiar melodies you can pick out while you're learning. (If your piano teacher is anything like mine then you could probably use some variety and reasons to be invested in your playing besides "this composer needed to eat so here's ten sonatinas.") And if you're a diehard fan with small hands, then...probably best to remember that Mitsuda is a huge fan of arpeggios and big cluttered chords, but that won't be every song. For that matter the amount of songs included is a lot, and they've even included things like Grief and (if I'm reading it right) the little "the party is sleeping" ditty from the inn.I'm still making my way through the book, but I'm playing on an 60-key for the time being and I'm definitely missing my lower octaves from song to song. But at least so far the left and right hands have been far enough apart that it's easy to compensate even on a smaller keyboard.tl;dr: 10/10, if you're a fan who wants to play these songs and/or have a piece of history from your favorite game, honestly go for it. Chrono Cross merch is tough to find and tougher to pay for, so I was really pleased this didn't break the bank.

This book is fantastically done. From the artwork in the front to the notes within. The arrangements are well done, translate reasonably well to other instruments, and will delight any true fan or casual fan of the intricate and beautiful music of Chrono Cross,Personally speaking, I am a guitar/mandolin player who dabbles with the piano while being a die hard and dedicated fan of Yasunori Mitsuda's music and JRPGs in general so needless to say, being able to pull these songs off on different instruments has brought me great joy. I definitely recommend this book to any musicians or pianists(aspiring and advanced alike) who enjoy this masterful effort from Yasunori Mitsuda.

Great quality and tons of songs from the game with varying difficulties. The song titles are in Japanese so you will have to find a list of the songs elsewhere.

Love the Chrono series. The book is great played through it a bunch and never gets old. Dat nostalgia man.

Perfect condition

One of the best gifts I have ever received. I have been in love with this soundtrack since the game came out, and have dabbled on a piano for years. I just started taking official lessons, and we're using this book to teach technique and rhythm. Especially rhythm!The songs go in order of the soundtrack itself, and there's a fantastic playlist on YouTube that plays them all in order as well. They're in the correct keys, so you can just play the entire playlist, and play along with it!! So satisfying and dear to my heart.

This has all the songs in soundtrack order. The good points are in the other reviews so I will just focus on the negative. I'm giving this 4 stars so the Pros far out weight not being able to play some of the songs as written.The book is labeled as "easy" in Japanese. That being said there are multiple places in the book that asks for the left hand to play 10/11-key spread chords as well as some other non-beginner terminology (double flats, etc.). While the arrangements may not be too difficult, some of the techniques asked for are not "easy" level and even as an adult with normal sized hands there are several songs I know I will never be able to play on a standard sized piano due to me not being able to reach (I may be able to cheat with some pedal work).As always, I wish they would spiral bind these types of books because I hate having to break the spine but that's more of a flaw with the publishing industry instead of just this book alone.

この商品自体の品質はすばらしいです。ですが、Amazonの商品管理が杜撰です。Amazonで新品で買っても、損傷した商品しか届きません。（表紙が酷く折れ曲がっていたり、背表紙がへし折れている。交換後の商品すら損傷した状態。）よって別のサイトで買うことを強くお勧めします。別途、マーケットプレイスで中古で買いましたが、そちらのほうが状態綺麗です。

ピアノ暦は半年ほどですが毎日引いています。飽きっぽい私ですが、弾きやすい内容が多く何より大好きなクロノクロスの曲を弾けると言うことで、やる気がどんどん出てきます。これを基本にアレンジもとてもしやすいと思います。サントラと一緒に購入されてはどうでしょうか〜。

私はヴァイオリンで演奏するために、購入しました。実際に弾いてみると、ポジション移動が辛いのですが、結構簡単に弾くことが出来ました。ピアノでも弾いてみましたが、やはりピアノは左手が難しく感じました。ピアノを長年やっている方（バイエルを終了した方）はすぐにマスター出来る曲だと思います。サントラ全ての曲が、ピアノやヴァイオリンやらどの楽器でも蘇らせられるこの楽譜は、私にとってはとても価値のある物になりました。

ひまつぶしには良いと思う。それ以上でもなくそれ以下でもない。
