So I like the scent of all of the Cake products I’ve tried so far. They can be a little strong when spraying, but fade quickly after applying. This one has a frosting type scent with maybe a hint of lemon. It’s pleasant and my husband likes the way it smells too. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. My hair is naturally wavy and unruly, but I blow dry and straighten it most of the time. I find that my waves are harder to manage than keeping it straight. In the winter my hair gets very limp, dry and static-y after being in the office all day. This stops the static and frizz and makes my hair look more lively at the end of the day. It definitely provides shine, but doesn’t weight my hair down much. I only use a few light sprays of it though. I used too much one time and while it didn’t flatten or weigh my hair down, I could notice that my hair had a heavier texture to it. With a light application, I don’t even notice it in my hair, except that the static and frizz are gone and it looks healthier overall. When I do air dry my hair and it becomes wavy, this spray adds shine and keeps the waves a bit more in-line so my hair looks managed and healthy. I’ve tried so many anti frizz sprays and they’re often just too heavy for my fine hair. There was one I loved, but it was 3 times more expensive than this one. This one is nearly as good and definitely doesn’t break the bank when I buy it repeatedly. I intend to use this year round, but haven’t tried it in hot and humid weather yet. I’m assuming it’ll work just as well for humidity as it does for dry weather that produces static. We’ll see!

Works great! Smells amazing too. Hair feels soft after, shiny, no greasy feeling. Light but effective spray!

Hard spray kinda like dry shampoo vs a soft mist like Kenra shine spray, but it works great and smells delicious!

Had high hopes for this product despite some of the negative reviews and unfortunately this will as well be a negative review as the product did not perform as described and unable to process a return due to hazmat restrictions. The product did not have any shine to it (directions were followed strictly), and it did have a slight chemical smell to it.

I recently bought this product and I'm really impressed with its performance. The quality is top-notch, and it does exactly what it promises. I especially love everything about it, which has made my life easier. It arrived on time and was well-packaged, making the unboxing experience great. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for Perfect color size and cheap. Easy to use with perfect size and thick. Volume and greasiness perfect with good moisture level.

Firstly, the date on the bottom of the product has an expiration of 01/24 which is unfortunate.I actually don’t care *too much* about expiration in hair products if it’s not like an insane amount of time passed (years). I’ve found they usually are fine, especially spray products.. in my opinion.However! I believe it contributes to this:the scent is good but doesn’t stay on my hair which is really depressing.It’s especially important to state that my hair STICKS to all smells. Literally it sucks up every single scent it can my hair is pretty porous.I’m assuming that the expiration date has something to do with the scent disappearing quickly. Perhaps I’m wrong but it is what it is.For $10 am I going to complain harshly?No. It does deliver shine and that’s the point.For me I was mainly wanting the scent to stick to my hair so I’d leave a trail of cake deliciousness and it doesn’t do that. So. I won’t purchase again, what a shame.
