I love it, there's no other way to put it. Although it's expensive, I've used it on my roots by applying it directly to my scalp. And I can definitely say that my hair has grown, especially at the edges. I use it twice a week to avoid using it up.

I’ve been trying to up my hair game. My hair is not too bad but as I get older my hair is dryer and thinning on the one side. This is a soft oil that smells natural with great ingredients. I apply a small amount to my edges at night and I get a subtle tingling feeling that leaves my graying hair edges feeling soft. It’s not sticky or overly greasy. I would recommend and purchase again.

This jar of castor oil has a soft and pretty scent, especially because of the rosemary. This castor oil works well and has left my hair looking shiny and feeling less frizzy and more rejuvenated. Knowing ahead of time that this jar is tiny, only 2 ounces, I would call this a sample size, so I really don't appreciate the advertising that says, "a little goes a long way." My hair is curly, thick, brittle, and down to my shoulder blades, so I need a lot more than 2 ounces of castor oil to cover it properly, and I used almost all of the jar in one use. I'd need to have two jars for one use. I'm not sure if they're worth it because there are larger jars sold elsewhere and they cost about as much as this jar does.

I really like this hair balm! As I've gotten older, I've had some hair thinning/receding hairlines around my temples from wearing my hair up in so many tight pony tails. I like to put this on those problem areas and then run whatever is left on my hands through the ends of my hair. My hair always feels so silky, soft, and smooth after I use this. It has a pleasant smell, so even if it doesn't give me thicker hair in the areas I'm applying it to, I'm still happy to use it until the container runs out. While it's a balm in the container, it melts almost immediately with the heat of my fingers, so it applies more like an oil by the time it gets from the jar, onto my finger, and onto my scalp. But I think it's easier to apply that way anyway. My scalp absorbs it pretty quickly, so I have to dip into the container quite a few times to get the amount of coverage I really want. So because of that, I wouldn't really say a little goes a long way. But since I'm only applying this to my scalp, the jar is going to last me for quite a while.
