Kids love it
I’ll be homeschooling my toddlers and we use this now and they love the games we make out of them. They’re 3&4 so easy use and great learning tool.

Great concept, not sturdy
I really love the concept of this game as a fun learning tool of upper and lowercase alphabet letters, shapes, colors, animals, and rhyming words. What I do not like is the material this is made out of. First, the game pieces are made with a thin felt like material that arrives in punch out sheets. However, since they are made with this material, they do not punch out easily or cleanly at all. They tend to pull apart leaving tufts of material. I had to resort to getting scissors and cutting the pieces in order to get clean edges. This ended up taking over 30 minutes to get all of the pieces ready.Next, I noticed that the printed directions provided with the kit is obviously not translated 100% well, because the written example provided for finding a letter with a “b” says “find a pink candy card related to ‘beer’”. Obviously beer is not an appropriate prompt for a children’s game. However, in checking the game pieces, there are no inappropriate pieces (only letters, shapes, colors, and animals) and definitely no pictures of beer. So someone translated the directions incorrectly. The kit comes with only 2 zippered medium bags for storage of the game pieces, which I’m presuming 1 is for all of the candy pieces, and the other is for the question cards. However, I did not like not being able to separate the pieces by each category for efficiency when targeting each topic during game play. So I ended up using snack size ziplock bags to separate each category. There is also no storage bag or box for the monster itself or the whole kit, so I had to find one of my own.For game play, the preschoolers I used this with absolutely loved feeding the monster which made learning stimulating and fun. The monster is made of a thicker felt material than the game pieces, but it can still be flimsy at times, especially when trying to use the pull tab on the back for the monster to “chomp” and eat the pieces.Overall, I really loved the concept of the game but wish it was made with sturdier materials. If it was, I would have given it 5 stars.

Great Learning Tool
A lot of us grew up with a game with a little monster that would munch letters and numbers. This is a lower tech take on that concept (and yes you can get lower tech than an old Apple II computer). Your young one will have fun picking out the right piece of candy to match what the monster says it wants on the card. Since everything is felt it collapses down for easy storage in a bag. This makes it easy to throw in a diaper bag and take with you on the go.

Wide variety Alphabet Practice
This game includes a lot of variety and pieces for the price. The quality could be better, but for the price you get a lot.The felt pieces were adequate to pop out, but did have to cut some out that didn’t tear as easily. There were two different thicknesses of some of the felt pieces and I’m unsure why.The pouches It included were handy but the enclosure pull of one won’t stay on.The monster itself could be a better design. The bottom is completely enclosed with a bottom. It takes a bit of effort to stand independently without the head being tilting forward. The teeth can go up and down with a pull tab on the back but is a bit of an awkward function.Overall it is a good game that my kindergarten students would enjoy playing but I may make some adjustments to improve durability.

Cute game!
I am so impressed by the quality and amount of cards and activities included. My kids love “feeding” the monster. The felt is great quality. Vibrant colors. Love it!

This is such a cute learning activity
It's made of felt so it's a little annoying to make the mouth "chew" but over all I love this learning activity and so does my daughter. I had a puppy version of this activity printed and laminated but this monster is so cute and comes with so many cards plus it's not just a flat face on a stick. Comes with lower case and upper case letters, colors, shapes, beginning sounds and rhyming candy pieces and then square cards that tell you which piece to feed the monster. It's a fun activity to add to learning letters. We have several activities we do for each letter as she learns it but she loves this one the most. The material.its made of is like cloth but very durable and long lasting. Comes with two zipper bags for storing the cards. This activity is simple and priced well. On top of learning this activity has gave us so many laughs, it's turn learning letters into some of the cutest memories.

Adorable Learning Activity
The set is as pictured with sturdy felt pieces. The monster is not a puppet in the sense that you can put your hand inside to manipulate him. He is fabric on the bottom so he can stand on his own with a felt tab on the back that you pull/push to open & close his mouth. With the tab being felt, it is not very effective. we plan to hot glue a craft stick to it to give it more leverage. The puppet also initially would not stay "popped up," but after filling him overnight with a few scarves he has more easily maintained his shape when you don't want him flat.Another thing to consider: the pieces all come attached to sheets that you have to take apart. It's a little time consuming (we only did the letters so far), but I don't mind considering that it will easily keep the pieces I am saving for later together where they won't get lost. The set came with some instructions/suggestions for how to use it to interact with your child, which I found helpful.Overall, it has some issues, but I think it is a very unique and fun learning tool that my child really seems to enjoy.
