Nice sturdy lead

I have an 80lb German Shepherd, and an 85lb Bernese Mountain dog. Walking them both on-leash can be difficult. Definitely my fault, but they tend to be better off leash than on, and I wanted to get serious about their heeling on walks. This leash is honestly perfect. My Berner responds perfectly to it and we have almost zero pulling issues. My Shepherd is still stubborn, but I still feel I have better control over him as I work to train his leash skills. I highly recommend this leash. I got the thicker leash for my Shepherd because I knew I'd need a little more strength with him, but this particular leash works great for my Berner.

exactly as described! I use it for training my dog, and I want her by my side while we're walking, so was looking for a short leash. This one was perfect. And when she's off leash, the leash is small enough to fit in my pocket so I'm not burdened with carrying a long leash. Good buy!

Great quality leash from Mendota. If you tend to hold the leash with both hands, the leash might be too short unless you have a very tall/large dog. If you don't mind holding the leash with only one hand (the one closest to the dog), it'll serve you just fine.

It's perfect! And, the right length for my Cockapoo. Perfect for quick gentle corrections. I do keep her regular flat collar on her and just slip the lead on for walks.

My little 6 pound yorkie likes to pull on walks so switched from a regular leash to this one. With the super short lead it helps so that she doesnt tug as much. I've had a few other versions of this kind of leash before but for the tab closures they were either extremely hard to move up or down or moved up and down too easily and I was worried she'd get loose. this one is perfect. easy to slide up and down and stays put the whole walk. highly recommend!
