Not your average wheelchair. This is for that person who wants to feel like they don’t need a wheelchair but rather a really amazing ergonomic and comfortable chair to get around on. This reminds us of a cool bike and does everything a wheelchair is expected to do but better. It is so easy to maneuver, open and close. The foot compartment is SO NICE and EASY to facilitate. And no you do not have to replace them every time like other wheelchairs require you to do. These simply fold up and down when needed. Dad wears U.S. 11 size shoes and no problem. The seat is comfortable and made to accommodate your spine in a proper and untiring position. You shouldn’t find people slouched forward (chin to chest) in this chair like many other wheelchairs do. This chair had Zero reviews but we took a chance knowing how amazing Amazon’s return policy is. We are definitely keeping this chair because my sweet father deserves the best. I spent many, many tireless hours researching wheelchairs and reading reviews and almost confused myself in research overload even more but always found myself returning back to this one as the most valuable contender. It won and exceeded expectations. 🥇10/10

First, this chair took 3 days shy of 2 months from order to delivery. But I knew it would take that long. I had almost forgotten I ordered it. So if you're thinking of ordering this chair, plan ahead. It comes assembled. It's just folded up in the box. We had what looks to be a box cutter cut in the pushing handle, but there was no way I was sending it back just for that. Got some electrical tape and took care of that. It's definitely comfortable. Somewhat easy to push as long as the person you're pushing isn't too large. And I sure wouldn't want to push uphill. Pushed my husband around in it, and the chair was totally stopped by the transition lip from the driveway into the garage, and I could not lift the front two tires up to go over the lip. So that was of concern. Bigger tires would have taken care of that problem. Has easy-to-use brakes and locks. Comes with instructions, which is a bonus nowadays. No one includes instructions! All in all, it's a pretty good chair, but it has its limitations too. If you use it on flat surfaces, not too many big transitions, it'll be fine. Folding it and unfolding is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. It was heavier than I expected but still not that heavy. I think I expected something that I would be able to easily lift into trunk of SUV with no heave-ho'ing. Had to use both hands. Its portability and ease of use will make this a handy item.

This $340 transport wheelchair was listed as being ergonomic. My husband thinks it is comfortable, and it is easy to wheel him in, BUT THE BRAKES DON'T FUNCTION! The chair has 4 brakes, two on each side: Two at the top behind his neck, two on the legs above the back wheels. THE BRAKES SO NOT HOLD! Consequently, I must take great care to sturdy the chair with my left arm while holding the car door open with my backside, and bracing or moving his foot as he pivots from wheelchair into car! Help, Wisging! I sent Wisging a nice email over a month ago, but they never responded. Please do so now, and I will change your rating to a 5. Help me keep my husband safe. Thank you.

We tried a transport chair half the price and the brakes didn’t work, it was uncomfortable and hard to push safely. This chair weighs more, but the brakes work, the chair is comfortable and it’s well made. It just arrived - two days late - but the UPS delivery was outstanding. It unfolded like a dream. Still practicing fold down. I knew it was here to stay within five minutes, barring something going wrong. I’ll add more after we use it a while.

The foot rest wasn’t long enough for my daughters legs and she’s not that tall. Also, there is a charge to ship it back, which they don’t let you know when your purchasing it on Amazon you find out when you’re returning it.

We have had various wheelchairs through my mom's various injuries and surgeries, and also through my dad's Alzheimer's disease. This is my favorite because it truly is lightweight and folds down like a stroller. My mom uses a walker, but can't walk far anymore so this helps us and her part time caregiver when she needs to go out. She can push it then sit down and we push if necessary. Highly recommend!

This is a solid, really well-built portable chair with one significant flaw: The drop-down footrest is not adjustable and is positioned comically high for most people. My wife is 5'-0", 100 lbs., and with her feet on the footrest, the backs of her knees are a good two or three inches off the seat cushion. Everything else about this device is really good; so if the user is under five feet tall with a small build or has rather short legs, this is a great option. For anyone larger or heavyset, decidedly not! It's really a pity the footrest didn't come with a telescoping option...would keep it for sure if that was the case.
