TLDR; Desk is exactly what it claims to be and very sturdy. Huge value for the money. I am blown away at the value of this desk. The metal is heavy and well coated, the design is inherently sturdy, and assembly was (within reason) painless due to pieces actually fitting together as designed. The table top obviously isn’t overly premium being laminate, but it too is sturdy and attractive, and feels like it should be durable. I was considering desks three times the price and am very happy I gave this one a shot. Even something as silly as the lower cross bar is well thought out. A lot of desks put it several inches off the ground where it will smash your shins or knees, but the designer of this desk realized that if it’s on the floor you will just rest your feet on it instead, and still gain the structural benefit. Overall, it met or exceed all my expectations.

This table is very good for someone who isn't necessarily a professional architect or designer, but who wants something slightly over-built without the advanced features that come from professional grade gear. It's very sturdy, and has sufficient size to accommodate full scale architectural plans. The top adjusts easily and stays where it's put. Leg room under the desk is more than I expected. The whole desk adjusts from sitting to standing height to accommodate all but the tallest users (I'm 6' 2" and was comfortable in either position). The assembly instructions were very easy to follow. Even better, the parts came well-labeled and easy to match with the instructions, which didn't require text (the diagrams were good enough). The kit came with all the tools I needed to assemble the table, with the exception of a small Phillip's head screwdriver, which is needed to attach the tool tray. It only took me about 20 leisurely minutes to assemble the whole thing. The tool tray that fits under the desk is ok, but not super roomy, especially when the top is tilted up. Still, it will hold pens and rulers even when the top is all the way up. I hoped that the table would come with clamps to hold the drawings on the top when it's tilted to full height. I would recommend users plan to buy a set of at least two fairly large plastic clamps to hold drawings, especially if they are stacked. (Plan to have to clamp to a thickness of about 1 inch.) I'm pretty sure this table will last for many years. Overall, a great value. If you need more features with this kind of build quality, you'll have to spend in the $300-$400 range, at a minimum.

Took about 2 hours to build only because some of the screws did not perfectly line up with holes built-in desk so had to bend or push down on part to screw into place was a little frustrating but only happened to 2-3 screws relatively simple to build. Sturdy and sleek and works perfectly for drafting or perspective and illustrative work. Probably the best desk for the price range for amateur or professional on a budget. I was worried this desk was not entirely flat and level which is really important in drafting but after measuring and letting wood settle seems flat and level. Pencil holder came bent out of shape and had to be bent into shape to fit into the plastic holder and came pretty scratched up on the inside but a little black tape or pencil placed over covers up scratches easily. Desk top is prone to fingerprints and can be scratched easily if not careful. Overall very sturdy seems like it will last a while.

I am glad that I chose this desk but there were some holes on the top that weren't lining up and I had to torque it with my husband's help, loosening and tightening different screws in other places. So I was cursing the desk for about 20 minutes while trying to figure out how to make it work. In the end, every piece is where it should be and the integrity of the desk is top notch. I would recommend over other options which looked cheap and flimsy online. It is solid and heavy, it does not wobble. We are missing one stabilizing foot which I am assuming after having emailed the company I will receive soon (accidents happen), using a book to stabilize in meantime. Our 10 yr old son is super excited to work at the desk. An architects light easily attached to it. The desk top height adjuster works easy enough and I like all the hole options on the general height of the table for a growing young person. This is a professional looking desk, any grownup would appreciate it as well.

I am impressed with this drafting table! I never expect good things from any item made in China, but this time, I was pleasantly surprised. It proved to be easy to assemble, it fit just right in a corner of my breakfast nook, by the window, it's sturdy and doesn't wiggle, like other similar drafting tables, and it's just the right width for hobbies or painting. It tilts with just one hand, up, down, or flat. It raises up or down easily enough, with just one hand screw on either side, and the frame is sturdy and well made. Even the powder coating is quality made and it looks well enough for any decor. It blends in with the rest of the furniture. I recommend watching the video on the Amazon listing for easy assembly. Great deal for the money!

This is wonderful desk. Very adjustable height-wise but a little difficult to do by yourself. The angled top is very easy to adjust. It is sturdy enough that after a long day standing at work I can stand and lean on this desk without a worry. My only issue with this desk is there is no rim or raisable lip at the bottom. I am not using this for drafting or drawing. I am using this for painting and needed to be able to put a water cup and brushes. The desktop is very smooth so if you have it raised, anything loose will slide to the bottom and right off. The pen tray has a slight edge but doesn't stop things from falling off. I was forced to create a rim using a dowel rod. I also bought a couple of silicone mats to create a non-slip surface. One other issue was that I needed a place to put other things so I had to find a utility tray for the side of the desk. The depth of the desktop perfectly fitted the tray. Overall, I love it and use it everyday!
