Brilliant, high quality, well worth the money

This set comprised of Machine screws hexagon headed M3 to M10 with matching nuts and washers, the washers were mixed plain and locking type. I required some M6 screws along with nuts and washers to repair an item back into use. They did the job perfectly and when finished the repair was much stronger than the original. This saved me much more than replacing the original item much more than the value of this box of mixed nuts, bolts and washers.

(Updated review)Box arrived - nice selection or sizes etc - and all were individually bagged which stopped them from getting mixed up in transitHowever - the box was marked as Carbon Steel not Stainless steel. I live near the sea so carbon steel will rust pretty quickly so I was specifically looking for stainless.I contacted Amazon and after a lengthy convoluted overly complex return process they went back to Amazon.I left feedback and immediately the seller contacted me. they explained that they were actually stainless steel but it was the sticker on the box that was wrong..If I'd know that I'd have kept them... The issue in not with the seller but with Amazon who really messed me about - if they had asked the seller this would have been resolved quickly and entirely to my satisfaction...

These are well-made bolts, nuts and washers in stainless steel, and suitable for general use about the home. The subdivided case makes them easy to access and store. You get 152 pieces, comprising thirty-eight of each of a hex-headed bolt (threaded all the way up), a hex nut, spring washer and plain washer in a range of diameters and lengths. There are other sets available in different sizes, and with flange bolts instead of plan, for example. These are all metric coarse threaded. I used the four largest, M10 x 60mm length to secure a vice to a bench. 75mm would have been preferable, but they sufficed. I used the plain washers under the heads of the bolts, to prevent them digging into the the wood too much, with the nuts on top, to help with keeping an eye on their tightness. There wasn't room for the spring washers. Normally, they would be used under the nuts, to stop them coming undone, and sometimes under the bolt heads. I thought the plain washers too close to the size of the heads to be really useful. Larger ones would spread the load on wood and similar softer materials.At £20.99 for the kit, you are paying just under fourteen pence per item, or about fifty-five pence per set of bolt, nut and washers. Whether that computes as good value will depend on how many of the contents get used, and how the user regards the convenience the kit affords.

These hex socket bolts come in a plastic box and inside you’ll find 38x stainless steel hex bolts with matching washers and nuts and in various sizes. They have a well-defined thread with no burs and the nut spins easily all down the thread. They are made from stainless steel which is perfect for outside use due to its anti-corrosion properties. These are reasonably small bolts and feel very robust and strong. I’m really impressed with the quality of these as they are nicely cut and have no sharp edges or burs sticking out so is a sign of a decent bolt. The bolts come with washers and nut so are ready to be used straight from the pack. The fact that these come in a plastic storage case makes these easy to store and easy to find the right size that you need as they are all separated inside. A good set of bolts for a reasonable price…
