Great box, great size for rock collections. The included booklet is trash… wrong descriptions for pictured stones… for example, under the picture of black tourmaline it describes red agate. Toss the extras and keep the box. I bought a few for my collection.

I got this for my youngest son who is infatuated with rocks, crystals, minerals... basically all things in the field of geology! He previously had his favorites in a divided tackle box but when I gave him this he was so excited. He got right to work on adding in his top specimens for display on his desk. The rocks look great in the case with the black velvet backing. I love that he can stand it up and it doesn't have to be displayed laying down. The latches hold the door securely closed so you don't have to worry about them spilling out. The only thing that could make it any better would be if you could customize the length of the rows. He has a few longer crystals that won't fit in the little squares. Definitely not a complaint, just an observation on how this could be made even better during future product upgrades.

This box comes with a bunch of extras geared for kids: a plastic magnifying glass, some faux gems, random animal stickers and a somewhat inaccurate identification booklet. Plus thin knit white gloves in case they have the Hope Diamond in their collection, I guess.But I ordered this box for myself as a jewelry display and it's perfect for that. Sturdy, excellent quality inside and out, better than a couple I already have. Clear glass (or plexiglass?) top, hinged lid with latches, black "velvet" lined and the divider comes out so I can use it for necklaces. Super nice for collectables or jewelry, so don't just expect something made just for the kids.

I thought this was a nice box for displaying favorite things. My rock/gem collecting 10yo kid likes it, though he immediately got rid of all the extra stuff that came inside the box. I like that it's a way he can display some things without them being hanging around loose.

The glass didn't survive shipping but the box seems good. Bought fir great granddaughter's 4th birthday. Maybe plexiglass would be a better option for kids.

This is a perfect gift for the rock hound in your life! It makes organizing and displaying your favorite rocks easy! It's fuzz/velvet lined and comes with fun stuff or kids like a magnifying glass, stickers, and white gloves! It is a sturdy box with a plexiglass top!

Box is simple but looks quite nice. Smallish boxes so could be useful for jewellery or cufflinks instead of small rocks as it was purchased for. Happy to find something with a clear cover to display the rocks rather than keeping them loose and against each other. Should prevent further degradation of the shine.

This case is a great size and excellent quality.

I just bought a second one. These display box are high quality. Too bad I had to wait in my 50s to be able to afford crystals, nice try with the stickers and plastic magnifier 😅. There’s mistakes in the booklet so don’t give that to your child. Buy a proper book about minerals instead
