Easy to set up, simple controls for fast switching between displays. Used with HP workstations.

Worked correctly for 6 months, then my Roku Ultra and Xbox One X (both are 4K) simultaneously said that it was incapable of 4K. I did a lot of time-wasting troubleshooting, and I won't bore you with details, but, suffice to say, when I removed the splitter from the equation, 4K immediately worked again on both.

Works as advertised to split a signal from my Panasonic GH4 to two HD monitors.

I bought this to replace an non-HDR splitter. I chose a splitter instead of a switch as only need a single input to output to all devices.Signal Output: Works great if your output devices are all identical spec. But this splitter will output to ALL at the quality of a lower spec TV if attached. So if your input is 4K UHD HDR but one of your TVs does not support HDR then NONE of your TVs get an HDR single to display.Playstation & PSVR connection: Connected the PS4 output as the splitter input. Connected one splitter output to a UHD HDMI input on a Sony ZD9. Connected one splitter output to the input of the PSVR process unit and connected the output from the processor unit to a different HDMI on the same TV. This set up worked with my existing non-HDR splitter. Allowing non-VR gaming to be viewed on one HMDI channel and the "social screen" output for PSVR gaming to be viewed on another.Playstation gaming: With this HDR splitter the PS4 states the TV is not HDR compatible when trying to enable HDR for non-VR gaming. Only solution is to either disconnect PSVR HDMI from splitter and power off/on the splitter or power off the PSVR processes unit at the wall (leaving it in standby is not sufficient) and powering the splitter off/on. The effectively making the splitter a manual switch.PSVR gaming: When starting up the PSVR the Playstation brings up a connection diagram stating that the PSVR is not correctly connected and refuses to start. No amount of unplugging and power recycling resolves the issue. PS4 simply does not like the PSVR processor connected to this switch.Testing: All HDMI cables spec and tested/proven to be HDR compatible by connecting PS4 directly to TV with each. PS4 and PSVR are splitter compatible as worked with same cabling arrangement with my existing 2 way non-HDR HDMI splitter. No need to unplug anything or recycle power and PSVR has no issues. So just a case of PS4/PSVR not liking this specific 4 way splitter

Ich habe 4 verschiedene HDMI-Splitter gestestet. Dieser hier war mit Abstand der teuerste, aber auch der einzige, der kein verwertbares Videosignal an meine Monitore schickte. Sie beschwerten sich stets, dass sie das Videoformat nicht verarbeiten können und dass ich doch bitte 1920x1080p probieren soll. Genau das war das Videosignal, das am Splitter anlag. Evtl. wurden die Bildschirme (Full-HD-Bildschirme) stattdessen mit einem 4K-Signal beschickt, obwohl das Eingangssignal ein Full-HD-Signal war. Wäre ein Fehler, der bei einem Gerät dieser Preisklasse nicht zu tolerieren ist. Oder das Gerät spinnt vollends. Normalerweise Minimalbewertung dafür. Einen Stern gebe ich trotzdem dafür, dass das Gerät einen sehr wertigen und robusten Eindruck macht.Der Stecker am Netzteil ist übrigens ein UK-Stecker. Ein Adapter für unser Stromnetz lag bei. Trotzdem irgendwie überbordend.

I bought this for PSVR on my HDR TV.If you have the PSVR box plugged in, the switcher reverts ALL signals to non-HDR, rendering almost useless as a solution for the PSVR HDR issue.In order to get HDR through this switcher, I now I have to unplug the power socket for my PSVR box, then switch off (then on again) this HDMI switcher. This makes it a manual switch at best.

I’ve not had any loss of picture or sound quality, I’d say this is the best switcher out there. Switching between devices is quick and It doesn’t overheat. Price is a little high but you get what you pay for.
