Purrfect
If you have a medium spec guitar, don't want to spend more on it than the guitar cost in the first place, and if you have no experience of modding guitars, this is the brand to use. I'm a cackhanded middle aged idiot that can't work chopsticks and even I could get this installed. And the difference in sound? Night and day. This is crisp, crunchy and packs a whole lot of punch. I love it. I have a 'proper guitar', a Gretsch, but I now love my Epiphone equally, not only because I pimped it myself and feel like a proud father, but because these pickups by Vanson are serious contenders. I don't know how they make them this cheap. Honestly, if you want to try your hand at modding but are a bit scared of your ability and therefore wary of spending big, I can't recommend these puppies strongly enough. Will use again.

Great sounding P90 pickup.
I'm an experienced guitarist and had used these in a cheap doer-upper a year ago. I got this one to put into my PRS SE replacing the stock neck humbucker. I'm really pleased with the sound I get; in isolation it's clear and bluesy, in combination sweet and clear.Highly recommended - I should order another load before everyone cottons-on and the price skyrockets.

cheap amazing little thing
Got the vanson for two of my guitars where I had Alnico 2 pickups. Easy to say that pickups were easy to install and they gave me the tone I wanted thanks to the Alnico V magnets

All good with me!
Just added the P90 to the neck of my Telecaster. This was to replace the existing Humbucker that was in there and it just slotted straight in. It's a great pick up, very clean and some great tones. I'd definitely consider using Vanson's again in something else.

Better than most.
These pickups are very good, its not a P90, but is better as it has a sound of its own, part between P90 and humbucker .I fitted these on my SubZero Paradigm Electric Guitar, Domino Black, with a Tone Stack a BLOODSTONE 6 position Varitone Switch Kit for Guitar and Bass. Amazing sound.

Top sounding P-90
It was chosen by price and beauty. The pickups gave me a "wauw" first time I plugged them in.Really a great sound pickup. It is a low price but it a surprisingly high quality.Indeed value for money. In my ears the pickup delivers exactly what one could wish of a alnico V P90.Compared to my Gibson P-94, this Vanson P-90 sounds a bit more open, slightly more clarity.Great pickups!

They are a good substitute
I fitted one to the neck of my LP. I would say that while these will never be a proper P-90, they are a very acceptable compromise.Make sure your pickup recess either has foil or shielding paint, as this pickup will cause a hum. How bad? well that is for you to decide. My LP is well shielded, so the hum is barely noticeable.

Definitely worth a punt!
Took a punt and it's paid off! I'm always wary of buying cheap, unbranded pickups but thought I'd try. I fitted it in the neck position of my Partscaster (bridge pickup is a Duncan JB) .and was gifted with some really great tones. When I say great, I mean GREAT!Bags of clarity and a bright high end and we'll defined low end with nicely pronounced mids. It's maintains these qualities when you start to add gain. You get souldful blues tones at low - mid gain and awesome growling crunch tones for classic rock.Great pickups on a budget and a straight swap for you old humbuckers.
