Don't empty your bank account just because your 20v Dewalt batteries are cracked. These are a great value and saved me almost $200.00 in lieu of buying new batteries. Once I swapped my old batteries into these cases I did a drop test along with a nice sling down my street and they held up like Ft. Knox. Worth every penny! I highly recommend.

Wires going to the indicator light are a little short. I hope they aren't pinched inside. Only time will tell. Other than that seems to be working well. I'm thinking of ordering a couple more anyway. I'll just solder an extension on both Wires to route them so nothing happens in the future

Does not work with DeWalt internals. Requires fully disassembling, replacing and resoldering individual battery tabs, circuit board, and battery indicator, with zero instructions. The parts are completely different than the original DeWalt internals.

Purchased this to replace a DeWalt 5ah 20v battery that I had dropped and broke apart. This kit fits together well but has a loose fit when attached to a tool as shown. The tool still works but I am not happy with such a sloppy connection. This is the second kit I purchased. The first one's depressor button was too tight and the battery would get stuck on the tool. Not much to choose from so I guess it works but don't expect a great fix.

The case on my battery was cracked and this case is exactly what I needed. Works like the OEM case. Very happy with it.

quality is hit or mis on whether it will charge or not. The circuit board is the problem some work and some don't.
