Where has this file been all my life?
I am an amateur gun stock maker. This file is great for shaping stocks and removing wood in a controlled manner. The file is very sharp and I cannot think of one issue with the item. This file is the best item I've found for shaping grips and creating shadow line cheek pieces. If you do any sort of stock work I would recommend that you purchase this file.

This is a fantastic file but it’s for wax and soft materials!
Even when a Grobet file is worn, it still better than 90% of what’s available. You buy these for life and to enjoy what you’re doing. This file is beautifully made, tapers down wonderfully narrow.

Best Wax File
This is the best wax file out there, my teacher told us about it 1st day of class. And I am glad I invested in this file cause the wax looks more finished and so easy to work with the file.

Functional Pattern File
As recommended by Tom McLaughlin, I'm using this file to clean up curved surfaces and blending angled joinery pieces together
