It made it easy to cook, I have super sharp knives These gloves protected my hands. I’ve cut my fingers often due to the sharp blades. I felt the knife in my hands when it slipped, no blood or cuts on the gloves, very strong and durable.

These are nice feeling gloves, but they failed the test against a mid-sized African Grey that I have to catch and medicate twice a day, which the bird resents. Her bites are more puncture wounds than slices, of course, but I was disappointed that she was able to bite through these gloves with a pair of leather gloves on top, hard enough to bruise (but not break skin on) my finger. So they might actually work well for chopping onions, but if you're thinking of them for preventing bird bites--they won't be helpful. Since the bird always bites the same places, places she can reach while I have her restrained by the shoulders, I'm going to try taping those spots, like a prizefighter, going into the next dosage. I'll still wear these gloves on top. And if I can find chainmail armor gloves, I might try those. Anyway, the gloves are very comfortable and fit well enough to give me the dexterity I need to fill a medicine dropper. I'm giving them high ratings because I was trying to use them for an off-label use, and for their intended use, they should work quite well.

These gloves are a wonderful! They hold up exceedingly well! They truly work awesome. Be aware of size order. I have small hands so got the M. Small would not have worked. I use my German incredible SHARP mandolin weekly! No need to use the holder which can be awkward. Using the glove makes it a breeze! This is the second time I have purchased these. The last lasted for years! I give one to my daughter one for me. We both love JPP cut resistant gloves. Just ordered a pair to include with a mandolin for a wedding gift. HIGHLY recommend.
