Son was looking for additional sound quality on his existing car stereo and we opted for this one due to the slim size so that it would fit into the limited space in his trunk. He's not had much experience with electrical wiring etc but was able to fairly easily install this without too many issues. The difference in sound quality is very evident, most noticeably on the lower bass notes which is exactly the impact he was looking for. It's a well made, solid unit so feel at the price point, was a good investment.

Purchased this slim sub to add more of a deeper tone to my cars base audio system. The system is not bad but it's definitely missing some bass. I was lucky enough that the subwoofer fitted perfectly in the trunks foam insert and I was able to Route the lines easier to my rear battery and hardwire them into the rear door speakers. I did have to add a LOC for the speaker wires coming from the left and right rear speakers. The installation is fairly easy because the subwoofer has a Incorporated amp into it with an adjustable base knob. The sub is powerful enough to give me that missing deep tone I was looking for but not too powerful to be overwhelming. The slim design takes barely any of the trunk space and using the provided brackets makes it stay in place without causing any type of vibration.
