I love Beanitos and buy their product every week. It has helped me satisfy evening desire for small nosh, 10 chips, with few calories and great taste. My friends are less inclined to like them but the white bean chips are an easy substitute for corn chips and folks eat them at parties. So I bought a box of six and was going to give most to my sister's family next week. I opened a bag for a party I threw and when I saw them I thought something was off, they look light brown, not pale yellow. Still, I had to serve them as I'd made a bunch of salsa. My friends said they were 'gross' and smelled! When I checked another bag it did smell off, stale and odd. So I tossed out the chips I'd poured/touched and the second bag and was about to toss the rest when it occured to me to return them. I sent my concern and it was handled well. What I don't get is what happened? I went to my local upscale market today and bought the same bag and it was 'normal'. Odd. Be careful and whomever the seller is - if it is Beanitos - I hope you do a better check of your inventory or at least do a smell taste once in a while. All the other chips I bought will go with me on my trip for Christmas and my family will have a few choices, still, very disappointed and...surprised.

These are tasty and are a great option if you are watching your carbs. I still count but they are better than regular tortilla chips. They are a little fattier on the mouth feel, but even hubby likes them and he is not counting carbs.

The chips are great, unfortunately all the chips are crushed and in little pieces, hopefully they can handle better in the future, the box was even crushed
