As good as OEM parts

The OEM pump died after 3 years and 2 months with only 41 hours on it. Warranty is 3 years BTW. Would have been $800+ for the manufacture service center to replace it. I did for about $50 with this pump and a new fuel filter. As for fitting, it was perfect. The screw tabs lined up exactly, all dimensions seemed exactly like the OEM one. It was a simple drop in. This pump starts my generator better than the OEM one did. I followed the same procedure, prime for 10 seconds then immediately try to start. The OEM would crank for 8-10 seconds before the generator would start. This one only cranked for 1-2 seconds before the motor started. Maybe I got a bad one from the factory, but so far this pump works great. I've only ran the generator for about an hour since replacing the pump, but so far so good. Even if it fails after 50 hours, it will have outlasted the factory pump.

Exact fit for my 7000 onan generator. Works great

The Onan fuel pump was $225! This on works great. Installation is tough but, nothing to do with this pump. It is a very confined space and getting it back together is a very tough and frustrating job. An RVTAA certified tech suggested I use this aftermarket pump because the OE is so expensive. He uses these all the time without problems. I have used my generator 3-4 times now and it runs fine!
