Game changer! Wondeful menstrual cup :)
I love the Merula cup! I had previsouly been using a mooncup and although I had initial success with it, I had started to have some leakages each month on my heavier days or whilst at the gym. The Merula just works for me, no leaks at all on my first period with this cup, it just seems to collect all the blood no matter what. I think the 'cauldron' shape vs. the longer bell shape of the Mooncup seems to be a winner for my vagina, it sits in there rather well :) love it! You don't even have to get the cup to fully 'pop open' it works even when still collapsed due to the sdhape and suction..?!.. The ring and cup seems to form a great seal inside and I just love how confomfortable and secure this cup makes me feel. Very much recommended especially if you have had some leaking with previous bell shaped cups, maybe this rounder cauldron shape will be the best option for you too :) Go for it!

Happy first time cup user
As a first time cup user I decided to order both a ‘traditional’ style cup (one that was suggested would suit me through a quiz!) and this one to see if either worked for me.I started with the more traditional one and after a few frustrating attempts to get it to open up properly and make a ‘seal’ I gave up and tried this one instead and I’m SO glad that I did. So much simpler to use and worked perfectly on second attempt and not had one leak. I have been using for 2 cycles now and I’m sure I’ll never go back to tampons again. For those thinking of trying I say go for it! It’s much less messy than I imagined too, very pleasantly surprised.I’m sure with much more work I could get used to the more traditional style cup But I can’t see that I’ll bother with the effort as this one just works and does the job brilliantly.

Not a popper!
There is a learning curve with all cups. This one took me to school. I tried multiple folds, twisting, and squeezing. It took me some time to get a proper combination to get this sucker to pop open. Even if I run my finger around this cup it doesn't do the trick. For the first time ever I had to use lube to help. Thank God for a free sample of water based lubrication gel from Pixie Cup. If I do not have lube, I have found that stretching two fingers out near the space where the cup is creased will help it open. Once the cup is in properly it really works. On a heavy day, i can get a few hours out of this cup. That is, as long as I do not have any huge clots. I have kept the cups stem intact. It works for my heavy flow and fits well even with my high cervix.

Not for me
It is a perfect cup for a light to medium flow. I got a heavy flow after having a child (c-section) and found this unsuitable for me. Cons: it is very soft and the stem is easy to pull. Cons: it flips, unfolds poorly sometimes

This cup is amazing and totally worth it!!!
This cup checks all the boxes to be the best mentrual cup out there! At first I was intimidated by the size and shape when compared to my previous cup, but the design is flawless. Don’t be discouraged, it took me a few tries to get the right fit, even though I’ve been using mentrual cups for almost 2yrs exclusively. Once you ensure that it fully expands (a tiny pop that seems strange to say but is a welcome thought to ensure no leaks) then it’s completely secure and there’s not a single leak or concern. The loop(s) is an ingenious idea to help retrieve the cup, especially after sleeping so now trying to grab the bottom of the cup is no longer a struggle - just tug on the loop slightly and deflate the suction. If you’re familiar with mentrual cups you will not be disappointed by this one, if you’re new be prepared for a little discomfort and leaking at the start until you get the hang of things.

Finally a leak free cup!
This is my 3rd attempt at a leak free period using a menstrual cup. I’ve previously tried the pixie cup and a my green vibes cup. Both of which I struggled to position. Before starting with this I watched a review on YouTube. I thought it was going to be hard to position but it’s been amazingly easy. I’ve had 3 leak free days even though I have quite heavy periods have just had to empty more frequently.Nights I’ve been using cloth pads, so finally cracking the sustainable period!

High hopes, big nopes.
I had really high hope's for this cup from the reviews I had seen. I was majorly disappointed. It's probably not the cups fault. It's likely mine and my anatomy. I have a retroverted uterus and a very strong pelvic floor, I struggle with cups at the best of times, so i need a really firm cup. The reviews said this was nice and firm. Not firm enough. Could not get this cup to open up, no matter what I tried.I've gone back to my Le Luna cup, which works perfect for my stupidly buff vagina 🤣

First timer review...not just for hippies
Total game changer. This was my first time trying a cup; I used to think they were just for hippies but am totally converted & wish I’d tried sooner! This cup is great. Use the punch down fold with the crease at the bottom and it will go in easily and fall into place. Check out the utube videos explaining the fold and it will be easy after a couple of tries. Big capacity so only needs changing morning & night (so you only need to do it at home) the ladder grips are very helpful and I didn’t feel any discomfort at all. Worth every penny

Best cup for low cervix!
I absolutely love this cup. I have a very low cervix and had had issues with other cups. I saw a gal on YouTube who had the same issues and she recommended this cup. No regrets! 5/5 recommend!

No Cramps, Less Leaks
I got the smaller size of this cup after discovering most period cups on the market are longer than the depth to my cervix during my menstrual cycle. I was having intense cramping and thought maybe it was because the previous cups I had were too long for me. So far, I have had much decreased cramping so very comfortable.Another added benefit is that the shape allows the cup to hold more than my others. It is not completely leak free, but I will say in daily life I have seen a big decrease in leaks compared to my previous cups. Also, the main time it has leaked when not because it was completely full, was because I was wrestling so you know, as long as you’re not doing that level of movement, a panty liner is plenty to catch any small leaks. It’s a little funky to insert and get to open, but I messed around with it and figured out something that works for me. Worth it for the benefits it does have.TLDR: Shorter cup than most, probably leading to less cramping. Leaks mainly only if doing extreme movement.

It does work. Be patient with yourself!
Funny enough I first bought this product in 2019. I had numerous other cups but they all did not work for me. First, my uterus was low, I had VERY HEAVY flow for at least up to the 3rd day and I would leak no matter what I tried whether it was high capacity cup or cups designed for low uterus. Well, when I got this one, I was already fed up and left it for a LONG time. During that time I found out some things about myself. I had very tight muscles down there so by the time my cup was full (within hours), I could tell. Not only would I leak again, but I had this swishing feeling... too weird to explain. I also mastered my folding technique and realized one thing too... if you don't fold properly you'll push air up inside you which will cause a great deal of discomfort and may even create conditions for bacteria to grow. So make sure that even if you insert it, you squeeze the air out and use your fingers to manipulate around the edges to get it sealed. How will you know when its sealed; give it a gentle pull and it won't go anywhere! When you want to release you DO NOT PULL IT OUT! Squeeze it and then remove it in that pinched position. Why am I telling you all this. Because going on this journey requires patience and exploration. All the things that people complained about bitterly on various platforms what EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. I needed something with crazy suction (or else I would pour). I needed something that would hold its shape no matter what (because my muscles were strong). You might have a collection before you see what works for you, but don't stop trying. The tampons and the pads ARE NOT WORTH GOING BACK TO.I took me years to figure out that I made the right choice in buying this one. Now I'm extending my collection.Love you all - Michelle

Dimenticateveli.
