specifically, it's the pan design from the cheaper of the automatic PetSafe litter boxes, where it comes with a disposable pan and you have to either purchase additional disposable pans or the more expensive reusable pan.I had been using liners that fit "good enough" for both the automatic boxes until one broke from catching on the excess and knocking the rake off track. I have absolutely zero worries of the other meeting the same fate with these liners, since there's no excess to be caught. it is, however, thinner than the other liners I used, so time will tell if the cats claw through them.I'll also be testing the fit with the pan design from petsafe's automatic litter box that is meant for clumping litter (had to replace the broken box, after all) and will update on how it works with that one (if it works at all).update: it doesn't really work as well with the other style of automatic litter box from PetSafe (the one that scoops it all into a drawer than you then occasionally dump). the rake snagged on it almost immediately, and before it stopped due to an "obstruction" the liner had begun ripping.

My only reason to buy was because they said it was compatible with Scoop Free automatic litter. I bought a brand new Scoop Free (my third in many years), set up the bag, it fit nicely but the scooping keeps snagging the bag to the point of bending the wires and ending up breaking the machine on the first couple of days. For a retangular manual scooping tray it is nice, but like others complained here, it does not work for the self litter Scoop Free.

We bought the reusable tray for our automatic litter box and after a while it started to smell if not thoroughly cleaned each time. These liners fit great and are super easy to remove old litter. Changing out the litter no longer takes forever and no more lingering smell!

These work very well with my PetSafe Automatic litter box. Sometimes a little liquid seeps through, but it’s much less messy to get out all the litter and waste using these liners opposed to scooping and dumping. I highly recommend! After using for a few months, there’s only been one time where it ripped and got caught on the grate, but overall it’s completely worth it to me!

I took a leap of faith and gave them a try, the bags themselves are great, sturdy, easy to carry when full, but for what they claim to do I can only give 2 stars. I had this bag tucked tight up away from all moving parts, unfortunately in a cat box everything shifts eventually. There is no flexible liner that can play well with an automatic litter box in which the liner is in the main body of the litter and mechanism, it caught on the tines and nearly broke the motor, it is now out of alignment. To prevent the expense of replacing you self cleaning box, do not use these. Flip side is that these are great for dumping soiled litter into from your reusable tray.

These don't easily scratch or puncture and hold the weight of a full litter box without ripping or leaking. The drawstring tie is a bonus and makes it easy to close up and toss the bag without it spilling everywhere.
