Works great to keep bugs out of your face. The only probably with wearing this is that the netting can obstruct vision so it's more difficult to see.

The hat fits well. It took me a little time to get used to the mesh in front of my eyes.

protects from bug bites
This hat is a lifesaver. I'm up in Northern Maine and May and June is black fly season. Those little monsters are brutal and will bite any part of you that's exposed and the bites itch and swell and don't heal up so quickly. I don't go anywhere in my yard without this hat on.
