Are the packages inside dry seasoning mix or a sauce?

The package contains dry seasoning mix, which when combined with coconut milk makes a sauce that is delicious- try it before making any conclusions!

What is the expiration date on these packages?

I recieved my order in july of this yr and the expiration date on the pkgs shows 11/19/2020 so i have over a year to use all the pkgs. Plenty of time

Can i use it after the due date?

Due date on mine is actually not an expiration date although many people think it is. I just cooked up a package last night and it has a best by date of 4/19/2020. This is the date that the manufacturer has decided it will be be "best By". Many people will think it is expired and simply toss it. In theory there can be some degradation over time and some of the fats might go rancid. There isn't much fat in it. I can't say how long it will last but the taste might not be as good. Lots of canned meats have fat in them and I just ate a can of tuna that had a best buy date of 6/2016. If you are concerned just pack it up and ship it to me, I'll dispose of it for you! I have more packages than I will use by April and I won't be throwing them out. Although eating rancid oil is not recommended it in my opinion it wouldn't be a reason to go to the ER. As an aside, I'm a retired ER nurse.
