I purchased this item in anticipation of a hiking trip to several National Parks. Me and my boyfriend wore the hat in October sun and it did not disappoint. We only had to wear sunscreen on the backs of our hands due to being extremely well covered for the elements and long hours on the hiking trails. My hat will definitely get plenty of use in the future and well worth the price.

I have suddenly developed a photosensitivity to the sun and will not break out after even a short exposure. Sunscreens only work so well, and for short trips from house to store or such are not practical for me. So, thought I'd try this. It works well for me, and when used with sunglasses, completely covering the head, face, and neck areas. I get strange looks when out and about wearing it, but that beats the rash and sores I get from even the shortest exposure to the sun these days.

The fabric is thin and soft, and very comfortable. It fits well and protects my face and neck from the sun. I liked that you can remove the two sections of the hat's face part and keep only one, or leave the hat alone. This is attached with velcro and the other with small fabric rings. I also use the mask attachment when we cut the trees or picked leaves because is a lot of dust. Great hat for the price.

Nice hat for shade while camping, fishing, etc. love the style. I’ll hang onto it for grandkids use as they grow up. Too small for hubby and son, too big for me. It will live with the fishing equipment for whoever needs one. Love all the shade/screen options.

The hat is a great all around outdoor activity hat. It has good sun protection without being too obtrusive. The rear flap stows nicely out of site when you don't need it. I was somewhat concerned that it might be too small since it was unisex but it ended up fitting very well and I consider myself avg to larger than avg male head. Quality and finish was very good. I needed a last minute hat for long hikes in Sedona and it was perfect

This hat does cover everything, very light weight, kinda large for me, if windy day it can be a pain to keep on. I thought it would be a little thicker material, but more like light weight kind of thin material, I'm not sure if it really sun proof, no way to really tell. It's ok hat.

This hat is pretty great.I was ready to spend 70 dollars on a different hat for the lake and then saw this one. I'm glad I didn't waste the money.I can lose 5 of these for the same amount.It is super light, the neck cover works well, and it's clearly made to last.I have used it twice and the band that allows you to tighten it on your head kept it from flying off even at 40 mph. When I lose this one in the water I will be ordering more.

This hat is light weight and very comfortable. It fits well and protects my neck from the sun. I also use the mask attachment when working in dusty areas. Great hat for the price. Will definitely purchase another one.

Económico pero de muy buena calidad para lo que pagas, con tela de poliester lavable y de secado rápido, ligero pero a la vez suficientemente grueso para bloquear el sol. Excelente para uso diario o en viajes ya que se aplasta y cabe en poco espacio equivalente a una revista. NO es de uso rudo o militar, por lo que se rompe con raspadas o tirones fuertes, pero para uso recreativo o casual es perfecto. Ajusta cómodo en cabezas medianas, queda justo (o ligeramente apretado) en cabezas grandes (la mía!) y en cabezas chicas se puede apretar más y queda muy cómodo. Yo soy muy blanco y me protege excelente en el sol directo de la playa, sierra y ciudad. De lo mejor en el mercado!

excellent hat

Me gusto la calidad de los materiales, no es el típico sombrero que se apachurra nada mas ponerlo en la superficie. El hecho de que la cubierta posterior se pueda ocultar en el ala del sombreo es un gran detalle. Me ha servido bastante.
