Bought with a box of ferrule crimps, and the crimper works brilliantly. Nice clean connections in my solar controller. I wish I had a latch to keep it closed so it could fit in my tool box without having to ratchet it just short of resetting. Good price, very intuitive, does the job very well!

This ferrule crimper has a nice feel in your hand, because the grip is comfortable. I purchased the package of ferrule connectors, along with the crimper as a set. The connectors are good quality and crimp securely to the wire, to make a good electrical connection. This set looks and feels like it's well built, and should last a while. Time will tell and I will keep you updated if any issues arrive.

I've been crimping wire ferrules for years using flat jaw pliers, and indenting the crimp with the serrated jaws of slip-joint pliers, or (gently) with wire cutters... Sometimes the width of the flat crimp didn't always fit in the terminal connection... I decided to try these, though I was a bit leary of the low cost... They have worked GREAT, so far! The square crimp holds very well, and FITS in the terminal connections I was having difficulty with... Worth the money all around!

Works well and is easy to use. Ratcheting feature is nice. Might be a little hard to use if you have small hands, but with both hands you can get it started then "choke up" and finish with a second squeeze. My only complaint is that this doesn't work with anything larger than 8 gauge and this company doesn't seem to make one for 4 gauge - which of course you'll need when installing car audio. But it does what it's designed to do, and makes it easy.
