The media could not be loaded. If you install it in the vertical position, it might be offset by 90 ( Off will be at 9o Clock instead of 12o clock).It has various screw holes, so install the switch in 90' offset, so it will match your stove on/off direction

This was bought for my GE JB655SK3SS. Upon opening the package I immediately noticed that the rod which holds the knob was in extremely rough shape and at first thought it was corroded metal but then realized it was poorly manufactured. It would not fit the knob until I used sandpaper to knock down all the rough edges. The rod, as shown in my picture, is longer by 2.9 millimeters over the rest of the knobs and is visibly noticeable. It's sticking out like that really irritates me but my wife, who does most the cooking, is okay with it so I won't be returning it. It also has to be installed in a 90 degree rotation from what the factory had it installed. Other than that, so far, it seems to be functioning. But I do not recommend buying this if you're not comfortable with having to modify a replacement and supposedly finished product.

The switch is made to fit multiple models and has mounting screw holes for various positions so if the dial is off unscrew and turn the whole switch 90 degrees to the next mouting holes

After I installed and placed knob it did not align with numbers. The slot is offset to left on off position. Second one I bought is the same!

Just switched out the part and it worked great. No more over heating stove elements.

Did my research before buying to make sure i got the right part, works like a champ!

Could not install due to improper manufacture. Went to local appliance store. They said that these products are rejects from R.e. Shaw.
