If you install them, you will remove them.
You need to know a few things before buying these hinges. First, they are the thickness of commercial hinges which much thicker that those you will have on the doors in your home. Your door may not be mortised deep enough for them and therefore they may affect the closing of the door. Also, on their video they say that your door will only open about 85 Degrees and you will have to push the door out 13 times to get it to stay at 90. Good luck, it didn't work, but 2 issues. If your door is close to the adjacent wall, you may hit it with the door when throwing it out to stretch the hinges. Two, you may damage the door frame when throwing the door out to stretch the hinges. I installed all 12 on 4 doors. I am now in the process of removing all 12 and reinstalling the original hinges. Just to let you know, if you are unable to stretch the hinges to 90 degrees, you will bump into the door when ever you carry something of size through the opening.

Not quite 90 degrees
Great idea. I replaced a cheapo hinge pin stop because my kids were banging the wall. This one does the job with less spring back than the hinge pin but more than I expected. Advertised as 90 degrees but more like 80-85. Not the perfect right angle I was hoping for but hey, the price was decent. For a much cheaper alternative you could always get a baseboard stopper if you don't mind the thing stopper sticking out of the wall.

Solves my problem.
Works as expected. Keeps my door from hitting display cases behind it. Much better than the stop I had mounted to the hinge pin which broke from time to time.

Does Not Open to 90 Degrees
Heavy, apparently well-made hinges, BUT do not open to full 90 degrees, more like 75 degrees, and tend to swing in even more than that, leaving the door half closed. Right concept, execution lacking.

Not close to 90 degrees
The product seems to be well made and I really like the concept and functionality but I am reducing the rating by a star because the hinges I received only opens to about 75 degrees. If it were to rest the door at around 85 degrees I would have given it 5 stars.

Great dent/ding saver.
These work great to stop a door from hitting the cabinet behind it.

Great product!!! I no longer have to worry about my kids putting holes in the wall. The product is very easy to install, looks great, and more importantly does its job. I'm looking forward to adding this hinge to all my doors!
