The main lamp is very bright and pretty large. It may be a bit too big for some people; but the head strap works well enough. It has 4 modes: bright, dim, and flashing main lap; plus a very bright array of LEDs built into the battery pack (that does not need the main lamp attached in order to work). Ran the main lamp on bright with a fresh battery charge (on a new battery, of course) - it lasted about 16 hours, running it in 3 shifts of 5 hours each. The battery is labelled as NiMH (vs Lion) but has a great life for its size. It charges with standard 2A wall wart (not included) using a USB-A to USB-C cable (included). It recharged from almost flat to full in 4-5 hours. It has 4 green LEDs to show remaining battery (nice!) It has a very strong connector between the battery and the cable for the main lamp - no way it will get disconnected just by pulling on the cable a bit (such as if you snag the cable a bit). It has USB-A output for charging a cell phone or similar; did not try this as already have battery packs for that purpose. A great accessory for camping or hunting or power outages. Not the cheapest I have seen, but the size of the main LED and the many modes make it worth the $ IMHO.

This LBJD store LED Hunting Headlamp Super Bright Rechargeable Head Lamp with Independent Battery Pack, works very well for me in sampling underground mineral structures with the bright light and ease of use. The headlamp strap is strong, and I attached it to a hardhat to keep the light- hands free and the on/off button is easy to find and use. Very well- made light and battery pack that can be a major safety item and even with this light, I always carry three light sources because sometimes I am over 1/2 mile underground and want to get back out safely. Excellent light at a good price- comparable to commercial grade safety lighting gear. Great find!

Super bright but a little cumbersome because of its size.

Really surprised about how good this led light creates a spotlight effect. After testing light, I decided this would be a great addition to our boat setup for late returns to the dock. Battery pack clips to waste and the large bell headlamp looks like it would be heavy, but it's not. Light is easy to turn on when needed by pressing button on battery pack which is nice when driving a boat.
