Because LED has less heat than halogen and uses less electricity I felt free to bump up the brightness in LED compared to the halogen I replaced in my kitchen hood over my range top. SO bright! Loving this bulb.

I returned mine because these are too large for the fixtures. Each bulb is twice as large as the halogen it replaces and therein lies the issue. The diffusers would not fit over the bulb. Too bad because everything seemed right to save money on electricity.
